Installed to control Comfort Zone 5K heater with a Honeywell Wi-Fi Thermostat. Worked great. Easy to install. Has light so you know when it is triggered. Seems well made. Little pricey, but worth it for the convenience. Have a heater installed in a shed. Don’t need the heater to run all the time. So I wanted to add a thermostat I could turn on/off with phone and have it warm in there when I needed to be in there.

Bought this so I could control my baseboard heater with a nest thermostat in a rental. Wiring is easy, and works as it should. I tucked the unit behind the old gang box so it was out of the way. It'll save me money over time.

Got this to be able to power my baseboard heater with a nest. Be careful to attach the green wire to the C inlet instead of G. My common wire was green and I messed that up at first. Works great and I can control my rentals from home

I installed this Aube Technologies RC840T-240 Electric Heating Relay with Emerson Sensi Wi-Fi Smart Thermostatto control the Enerjoy radiant heating panels in the main living area of our home.I placed the Aube relay in a metal junction box just below the main service panel in my garage.For the 24 volt wiring I connected the Sensi Thermostat to the Aube relay using 18-5 thermostat wire as follows:Blue wire: C terminal of the Aube to C terminal of the SensiRed wire: R terminal of the Aube to RH terminal of the SensiWhite wire: W terminal of the Aube to W/E terminal of the SensiFor the 240 volt wiring:Using 12-2 romex I colored the white wire red with a marker (as is my usual method for 240 volt wiring that does not need any 120 volt application.)Red line-in wire connected to the black wire of the AubeBlack line-in wire connected to the blue wire of the Aube and the black line-out wireRed wire of the Aube connected to the red line-out wireThe system works just as I had hoped and it is great to have the capability to control the heating panels while away from home as well as having all the features of a smart thermostat.I installed the Enerjoy panels 25 years ago and they have proved to be a very efficient heating system with zero maintenance required in those 25 years, and I’m thrilled to now have the capability of controlling them remotely when we’ve travelling.

So, first up a couple of things to bear in mind1. I'm based in the UK2. As a result, mains voltage here is 230-240vac at 50hz3. So it stands to reason that all items i will be controlling and the supply to this relay/transformer/switch will also be that configuration of 230-240vac and 50hzSecondly, the relay/transformer/switch works flawlessly for my needs.So, why the odd title you ask, well, purchasing such an item from the USA was obviously an odd choice, however a financially beneficial one for myself, put bluntly, it was cheaper, even taking into account shipping and additional tax applied to the price, it was just a better deal than buying through amazon.co.ukObviously there were warnings from Amazon.com (usa) because it's designed operating voltage does not match the mains voltage specifications there in the USI have pictured the item i received, and as you can clearly see, it says "Load (Res) 208-240v /22A 60Hz"yet the images used to sell the item clearly show "50 / 60Hz"Now, remember that my supply and equipment is all 230-240vac 50Hz, and there was at least one warning regarding the voltage not matching US supply, the images are inaccurate in relation to the Hz rating, which is disappointing.In reality, it appears the unit itself works quite happily at 230-240vac 50Hz outputting bang on 24vac, and the Resistive Load rating of 22A is somewhere in the region of 3 times more than I need is not of a concern to me that the 22A may not be accurate given i use 50Hz and that rating was specified at 60Hz, like i said, just a little disappointing.Value wise, i marked 3 stars, it's solidly built, has good gauge cables but is just expensive for what it is, and also very shortly after purchasing, it went down in price (more than just exchange rate related.)

Aube is a subsidiary of Honeywell. This is UL listed. It's is a solid quality product. I installed on a 1500W baseboard heater. Works great. Don't go for the cheap fire hazard alternatives.

Added a smart thermostat to a ceiling mounted heater that previously used an internal mechanical thermostat. This solved the issue of both controlling the 230vac contractor as well as powering the thermostat. The only issue I had was insufficient current capacity on the provided 24vac output. Tried unsuccessfully to use a carrier connect commercial smart thermostat. Ended up purchasing a basic Sensi WiFi Smart thermostat that requires much less power and works perfectly so I'm happy.

Looked all over the Internet for a solution to add a 24V thermostat to my workshop Dyna-Glo EG5000DGC 240V heaters. I found this diagram for this specific model and it worked perfectly and was super easy to install. Both my heaters were already connected to power so I just had to install this cool little device on each heater and and run thermostat wire to each of my Honeywell TH8321WF1001/U Wi-Fi 8000 thermostats. Now I can power on the heaters and set the temp from the comfort of my home and when ready to work, it's nice and warm. My 900 square foot workshop is insulation and the two heaters quickly warm the shop up. My neighbor has the Dyna-Glo 7500W heaters and he had to put the blue wire on L1. So this will work...just might need to tweak the configuration a little.
