I have not opened it of course for stockpiling but I think it's a great meat substitute and you can still make flavorful burgers.

I bought this strictly for long term emergency food storage. I have not tried this yet; I will get a smaller package to sample for taste and if it might be something We can eat over again. if it tastes great, for the money it would be a win for us and would purchase more. but if the taste isn't there for us to want more, it will be a onetime purchase

I was very skeptical at first because of the mixed reviews. And I wanted to get quite a few of them because of the long shelf life so I bought one to try and was really shocked that it does have very good flavoring. It is a little salty, but you can tone that down, adding butter or water. My husband absolutely love the taste of it, which I was shocked because he is a 100% meat eater, but he actually really liked the taste of it so I will definitely be ordering more.

I was expecting a normal sized tub. This thing is tiny. But it still says 60 servings so I guess I still got what I paid for. Just surprised after ordering many tubs of long term storage food. Haven’t tasted it yet but the seal is not broken.
