This is the way to go. The heater is under you instead of on top of you, much more effective and efficient. The controls are simple and work well, and it heats up quickly. It gets plenty hot (I use it on setting 1), and tends to overheat slightly when first turned on, but quickly stabilizes. I have a really thick mattress but this fits really well. I can feel the heating wires with my fingers, but not when laying on them. Yes, it does remember the heat and timer settings when off or unplugged. Mine is king size, with 2 controls. The controls are completely separate, so you need 2 outlets. When testing it my wife complained her side would heat then die after a few minutes. I was about to send it back when I discovered she plugged her side into a switched wall outlet. When she turned off the light switch it killed the blanket outlet.

I bought this for our king size bed, my wife loves it. It's gets pretty warm and toasty. Best part is the duel controls. I keep mine off and she turns hers on.This also helped with the fitted sheet stay in place as the pad is also fitted. Bonus perk.

Have only had this for two weeks, so I can't talk to its longevity. However, the warmth is great, really helps with the aches and pains. It was easy to put on the bed.

Love it keeps you nice and warm. It has a timer that you can set so it goes off. I’m glad I purchased it. It’s really cold and gives you that heat you need.

A LIFE SAVER. As a medical traveler who lives & travels via camper & various climate, this was an amazing choice. I don’t have my furnace run at night because of propane exposure or possible run out & carbon monoxide poisoning reasons. Originally was a gift, however I ended up keeping it for myself. I was going to order another one anyways for myself. Fits perfect. No noise. Comfortable. No feeling of wires. High quality. Worth the money!

We live in a poorly insulated house without central heat and with energy prices these days, I thought this might be a good option for staying warm at night. This is AMAZING! I turn it on full heat 10 minutes before getting into bed and its so warm and lovely. I can usually turn it down to 2 to sleep without overheating. No more rolling over into the icy abyss! Should have bought this years ago. The elements are hardly noticeable under my sheets and overall I'm thrilled with this purchase. Highly recommended.

I suffer from chronic pain so a heated mattress pad is essential for me to have any chance of getting sleep. I have a queen size Reaks pad on my bed at home. I never count on these things lasting more then a year tops but my queen has lasted close to 2 years! I was traveling home to visit ny parents and needed a heated mattress pad for the full sized bed in their guest bedroom. I went with this brand again and i am so grateful i did because the guest bedroom has NO HEAT!! This thing not only helped my pain but kept me nice and warm all night. It worked so well i decided to leave it at my parents house so my mom can use it for her bad back when she is in pain and so it will be there for me when i come visit again. Honestly ive gone through so many heated mattress pads and blankets over the years and some havent lasted more than a day or a week. This wierd off brand is the best ive found when it comes to longevity. It has 10 heat settings and a timer. I am always cold so i put mine on the 2nd highest setting and it gets HOT, just like i prefer.

Easy to use. Warms up my bed prior to going to sleep. No complaints. I would recommend it.
