I liked the price. semi easy to put together. I replaced draw pull with other matching drawer pulls in my office in Brass. Looks great.

Typical particle wood construction. Instructions were very good better than most for assembly. Wish the drawers opened up slightly more to accommodate file folders crosswise. But very satisfied. I recommend.

This took me about 3 hours to put together. The color was just what I wanted, but putting it together was crazy. Every thing was miss numbered, miss labelled, and directions were ridiculous. But, I got it done mainly because I had put together other items...and assembly was similar. Discovered this file cabinet was not as deep as the 25 year old Sauder that finally fell apart. Looks nice, but wish I would have spent the extra and got another Sauder. But, this one will do.

This is a beautiful file cabinet but I was unable to put it together because it was missing one side of one of the drawers and the top was missing 4 screw holes needed to attach it to the cabinet. I called the phone number in the instructions for possible replacement parts but they didn’t have any.My advice would be to make sure you have all of the parts laid out and accounted for before you begin assembly. I didn’t find the assembly hard and the screws and dowels are conveniently packaged separately for each step of the assembly process. Unfortunately I had quite a bit of the cabinet put together before I discovered my missing and faulty parts. My husband got the difficult task of taking it apart again so I could repackage in original box for the return. The return went smoothly and Amazon refunded my money. I’m debating whether to order it again or not because it really was a nice looking file cabinet. Will check other recent reviews to see if anyone else has encountered the same problem.

It was very hard to put together. I hired two guys who assemble pieces of furniture together and they charged me $150. to put it together because it was so difficult. That said, I like the assembled file cabinet very much. It is sturdy and works well.
