It's a shame that these covers aren't included with the basic feeder set, but I'm glad we could find them elsewhere at cheaper prices. The clear plastic allows for light and sight, and does prevent curious cats from intruding on one of the other's food from the backside anyway. Over time we've noticed that the psychological barrier inhibits the attempts to sidle up next to the feeding cat to get at their food, and before long the unauthorized cat will just walk away. Good training for "leave it"!

This sturdy rear cover works easily with my pet's Sure feed microchip feeder. Just squeeze the two tabs gently on either side to slide onto the feeder and you are done. Keeps the other cats out of one anothers bowls. At time of review the price was 34.99, in my opinion that is on the high side of pricing for what it is, other than that works as it should.

These fit perfectly on the automatic feeders we just purchased, and because they are 100% clear plastic. The cat will not feel like they’re in an enclosed area. Just make sure to follow the directions on the feeder for getting your cat acquainted with the automatic feeder These are definitely no cheap piece of thin plastic! These can be easily snapped on or removed whenever you want as long as you are careful with the plastic tabs that keep it attached to the feeder. First time I took mine out of the box I accidentally dropped it on the floor and the thing didn’t even get a scratch on it!The cats don’t even seem to notice the extra bubble on the back, and I think they actually like the feeder more now that it has an enclosure they are super easy to put on, and they actually help to reduce the noise of the feeder itself.We are absolutely going to continue using ours, and after I unboxed the first one I ordered I immediately went on Amazon and ordered a second one for the other cat. If anything happens in the future, I can come back and edit this post but for now I definitely recommend!
