Upon doing the rear axle bearings and seals I noticed my original cover had some questionable (North East) rust, and a little deformed. I went ahead and used the included seal, without any RTV, but left out the magnet as it would be loose in there and I would worry a bit to much about it. A week of test driving the truck and no leaks. A great, cheap, replacement for when the original has lived it's life.

Fit 2003 f250 xlt 6.0 perfectIt came with a nice gasket. I still used permatex on the differential side of the gasket since the metal wasn’t perfectly flat. Installed it a few days ago and put fluid in it. No leaks so far and looks so much better than the rusty old one with 400k miles on it!

It came with a seal that seems to work very well without any gasket paste. A magnet, but it was not a strong magnet so I did not include it. I didn't want to take a chance of it flopping around. The fill plug has a magnet so I just relied on that.

Fit year 1997 Ford F250HD (transition year with year 1996 body and F350 drive train)THROW AWAY THE MAGNET. IT IS NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO STAY IN PLACE.I used the included gasket and torqued the bolts to 30 Foot Pounds. And NO LEAKS.

Was a little worried it would be light weight but it weighed out heavier than the oem it replaced, mind you that had lost a bit of weight due to the amount of rust. For the price it was well worth it rather than cleaning up the original and repainting. Would recommend 100%.
