So the material is fine. Seems pretty tough and easy to work with. Unfortunately it had sets of 5 holes in 4 different locations. (see images) Seems whatever caused it punctured through multiple layers where it was folded. In my case I did not need the full 8.5' width so was still able to use the supplied section. I ended up cutting about 2' off where the holes were. Still, no excuse for such a blatant defect. If I had needed the full width I would have had to return it.
