Wanted this for high pitch to frighten coyotes . Works well for that and the cord fits easily around my neck. Great deterrent for bad critters !

I purchased as safety measure while hiking in Sana Monica Mountains in case I ran into a Mountain Lion or needed assistance. I blew the whistle and be forwarded. it can loud, can hurt your ear. I knew to blow lower as I tried a blow horn before and even at a distance that DID injure my ear and the whistle has more control to the decibel volume. I like he bright color, lightweight, best material.

Whistles work fine.They don't have a breakaway lanyard, so be careful with kids wearing them. I opted to have my kids wear them under their shirts and will probably see if I can add a breakaway latch later.

Good whistle to have on a boat or if kayaking etc. Not the best quality but still is loud enough.

Gave it to a disabled person to wear. When they need assistance or help, one whistle and help is on the way. Cheaper than a life alert service and makes the person feel safe and connected.We use it in the house or yard areas.
