This handle was very easy to install on my 2008 F150. I had plenty of cable to follow the factory wire harness along the driver frame rail. I came up through the cab by the parking brake cable, through the kick plate and over to radio. I hooked this to a Kenwood unit and it has a nice area of view and is very clear. This setup is so much more clear than the OEM camera in my 22 F150 that’s it’s crazy. Only complaint I have is the directions are extremely poor and written in “Chinenglish†The handle has 2 extra wires that the harness doesn’t have the mate to and you might as well forget customer service. Over a week and they havnt replied to my email. I just ignored the extra wires and it worlds fine, so I’ll call it a win.

I attached this to a Sony AX4000 head unit and it works perfectly. The picture is clear and makes trailering and backing up a cinch.The only thing I would bring up is that the Sony unit has it's own parking lines, so I had to turn off the lines on the camera. However, because it's a jumper instead of cutting a wire on other backup cameras, this was very easy to do.

Two cons: handle doesn't fully engage mechanical laych on tailgate. Its missing right side connection so it has to open more with left side pressure. Other than that the video briefly blinks out occasionally.The instillation was decent enough other than trying to feed wires through the bottom of my tailgate.Its been a process to identify the perspective of the lens in comparison to the drive path.The image is fine on my jvc head unit.Plenty of wire for my 2007 f150. It seems like it would have worked on my longer bed 250 too.

This camera came with everything needed. It had plenty of wiring from the tailgate to the truck dash. Wire also came in a plastic protector. Installation was easy, as was the handle. All works great with a nice clear picture

For the price, this RED WOLF Tailgate Handle W/Reverse Backup Camera Replacement for 2004-2014 Ford F150, 2008-2016 F-250/F-350/F450/F550 Pickup Rear View Parking Camera RCA Connector Wide Angle Optional Guideline was an awesome choice! I honestly don't know a lot about the technology and I didn't do the installation for this, since I got it for my son's F-150. But my son and my husband - the mechanics - said that the installation was fairly simple and straightforward, and that it didn't require a lot of extra work for them, so that made me happy! They also said it seems like a pretty good camera for the price! I just wanted to give my son a backup camera that would do the job, but that wasn't going to break the ban. So far this little one is perfect! He's happy, so I'm happy!

Installed it myself, looks factory. All the reviews of people saying the video quality is bad are people who have super old or cheap receivers. Video quality is great.

Easy install works great, hitch is visible on camera, one of the mounting studs did break as they are soft brass and not as strong as the original.

Waiting for another part to mount my double din deck inside the truck won't install this until that arrives so I'll update my review once it is installed and working. But for not the part seems to be the right one and all the necessary parts are there.

2005 F150. I ran this into an older Kenwood deck I had. Installation was a breeze. The picture quality is amazing, especially at night. I had a license plate one before and it was terrible because the license plate lights distort the camera at night. This one gives you a higher view from the latch position. The latch works as good as the original. Had it over a year now and still great. The backup lines also are a nice touch.
