My horses go through these like candy. I love that they are unrefined and provide necessary minerals.

BEST QUALITY: my favorite thing about these is they don’t “sweat” or melt in the summer and they don’t fall off the ropes before they are done!! I live in Houston so the humidity is insane. I have these in 20 stalls and every horse loves them, they last much longer than the pink Himalayan licks and the best part is, they don’t fall off the ropes before the horse is done with them.Of course I have a few horses that never lick mineral or salt blocks. Nothing changed with these, they still ignored them, but I leave them up anyways as an option.I find it a little weird that they ship them just floating around in a large cardboard box with zero packing. The good thing is that I haven’t had any that are broken or damaged and I’ve order a bunch, so I don’t mind!

I have been using Redmond products for years when it comes to our horses, and in my opinion, they're the best products out there. The Redmond Rock is a favorite of theirs and I have conducted several experiments with other salt/mineral blocks along side it. Each and every horse goes after the Redmond Rock like I go after mint chocolate chip ice cream, and they ignore the other blocks. Yes, the Redmond Rock is a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for, and our horses have made it clear that it's the salt block they love. Give it a try and I think you'll be pleased. Another great product of theirs is Redmond Daily Gold. I had a horse that went crackers after her stable mate left and no supplements helped calm her down until I tried Daily Gold. Worked like a charm.

Hung this in my horses stall and he loves it! I can clearly see that he has been licking in it regularly. Big, sturdy and seems to last a while, so the 3 pack was a great deal.

Great product! Natural and has minerals too. WISH THEY WERE INDIVIDUALLY WRAPPED for safety and not just thrown in a box.

I bought these for my Standardbred and Arabian horses. They hang in their stalls all year round and both horses love them. My standardbred tends to bite through the pink salt on a rope but doesn't with these. They last until the tiniest bit gets licked off the rope. We live in the northeast and my vet also recommended them for their mineral content so the Redmond Rock is all I will use.

These Redmond Rocks are much better than Himalayan rock salt in my opinion because there aren't lots of wasted chunks that fall off the rope. They last longer (more econonical) and are less messy (less sticky residue left on the stall walls). My horse and pony love them. I gave them as Christmas gifts to my farrier and his assistant this year. They both were very pleased with such a practical gift for their horses. I'll never buy Himalayan salt on a rope again. Too many leftover chunks that I don't know what to do with.
