This is definitely a tricky product to review. It is advertised as a normal bias cassette, which implies that it is a ferric-style cassette.These are the standard cheap cassettes that you could buy in large quantities back in the day for low prices. However, the tape I received is labeled high bias, which means it is a chrome tape and not a ferric tape. I am unable to confirm if this is a mislabeling or if it is truly a high-bias cassette tape. If the manufacturer is correct, and this is a ferric tape, $17 --the price as of this review --is a bit much.Even if it was a chrome tape for that price, if you were looking for something with that open reel cassette style, this may be a worthy purchase for you, but if you want something that is high-quality, like a chrome tape, you can get much better options from other brands. As the page implies, you are a blind box recipient and get one out of 54 styles of tape. The tape I received came with brass colored screws with a purpleish-pink metal coloring to the reels.This is probably not worth the price unless the manufacturer can clarify that this is a high or normal bias tape.

The description for this cassette tape is deceptive. It says you get 1 pack blind box. This means you get multiple tapes of a random design. This is wrong. You only get a single cassette. This is not a pack. I lucked out and the one single cassette I received was a pretty blue color in a design that resembles the old reel-to-reel tapes. I was extremely disappointed in the single cassette for the very high price. I was expecting at least 10 cassettes for 1 pack at this price. Last time I purchased cassettes, they were at a rate of about $7 for 6 cassettes of 90 minute length. I did expect designer ones like this to be a little bit higher but, not at a rate of $17 per cassette. Outrageous. That's why with it saying a pack, I expected around 10 cassettes.
