For the size of this unit it should be rated a bit more. Most trailers that require a 2 5/16 ball are over 8,000 lbs.

Looks great. All surfaces are smooth, no pitting. All edges look true and straight. It looks like a high quality product that Reese is noted for. This hitch ball looks great on my drop stinger.
