I've used a variety of hitch balls on my quad over the years. I pull a trailer, use nylon straps around it and other typical stuff. This hitch ball appears to up to handling all those tasks.The smaller stem would be a problem for a pickup truck. Just not the same support, but for a quad it's the right size. It also appears to be a little shorter. That means it will pickup less junk driving around in the weeds.Overall I'm happy.

fit KLF 220. haven't snapped it off yet but, i'm not sure the ATV weighs enough to carry such a load.

I just wanted this for my mower so I could attach the small trailer and cart that I put 1-7/8 hitches on instead of the pin mounts.
