I think most of these Bimetal switches are basically the same. I was replacing a 4387490 switch in my kirkland (whirlpool) st14ckxhw00 refrigerator.this switch has a different clip on it, but works just fine. It was nice to get some crimp joint tubes to attach it. It also included some shrink tube that was way to large. I tried to install this shrink tube, but it wouldn't shrink down enough to be tight on the new wiring joint. Luckily I had some smaller stuff around that fit better.

These are an inexpensive replacement for a failed defrost thermostat. Just make sure that the temperature switching range is close to the thermostat you are replacing.

Fixed an issue with an intermittent Defrost Thermostat on a Frigidaire side-by-side refrigerator. On the old Defrost Thermostat, I measured zero ohms (closed) at room temperature. Just handling the old Defrost Thermostat would cause it to re-open, so it was sticking internally. This new Defrost Thermostat fixed the issue.
