We have an ice maker which when installed had used a plastic water line. This line developed pin-hole leaks so had to be replaced. This worked perfectly and was easy to install. I like the fact this is steel mesh and much more durable. No more leaks.

I saw some people complaining about a metallic taste when I bought this but I tried it anyway. After installing i did notice a weird taste. But I changed out my fridge water filter after a few weeks (it was a year old and needed it), and I flushed a few gallons through the system. Now everything tastes great.

After not finding this length in store, we used a thin plastic line instead… DON’T do it! Came home to find an 1.5 water covering 1,000 sq ft of our home! What a nightmare! This universal line was the perfect quality and length we needed. No problems since!
