Con - Instructions are weak, no wiring info and resetting the setup for each camera. Pro - Once you figure it out, It works great! Everything works better, faster and clearer than just using client alone. Another odd plus, if you clear the drive HD and still use the SD cards in the cameras. You can pull the cards and review the other days footage. Kind of a back up of the cleared back up.

I was a bit skeptical, however happily surprised. It was not difficult to setup and my 3 LAN IP cams were adopted easily. Now I can playback video and select motion options like animal which will narrow down searching. Looks like I will get more than two weeks of recording before I set it to overwrite. Intuitive and user friendly enough. Tip, Reolink check for updates often says its updated when its not. Check online for updated firmware, download and apply it as needed. That will solve a lot of headache. Recommended!

2/7/2025 update: Reolink offered a refund and I accepted. The next day, they changed their mind and want me to jump through hoops with support again. This is extremely dishonest and if I could give 0 stars, I would. Returning all the other Reolink stuff I bought because I can't trust them anymore.------------------------------------Unlike Reolink's NVRs, this Home Hub Pro doesn't work behind a VLAN. It is unable to detect any wireless cameras if behind a VLAN. Wired cameras seemed to work fine, but not every camera I have has access to a POE connection. The only way I can get wireless cameras to work is if I connect it to the Home Hub Pro built-in WiFi and then switch the SSID for that camera afterwards. The reason for this is because the Home Hub Pro's built in WiFi causes massive interference with my existing wireless network.Anyway, this process works for some cameras (Battery Doorbell, CX410W) and doesn't work for others (Lumus Pro). I'm not really interesting in keeping such an expensive Home Hub Pro that has hit or miss compatibility like this. Who knows what new camera I buy will and won't work.Support is non-existent. They'll ask for all kinds of hardware/firmware ID's and do nothing with them. They'll just reply asking you to reset the camera even though you've already tried it a million times. If you don't care about separating your camera network from your main LAN or don't have your own WiFi network already, this thing is probably great. But for everyone else, look elsewhere.

Wanted something I can record continuously to through the my network without fully wiring it to an nvr has never been easier. Only have one poe reolink duo v3 fully connected to it compared to my other 3 that is recording continuously through the network directly to the hub itself.

I have had a lot of set up/connection problems with certain Reolink "cameras" in the past, but this Home Hub sets up with a Cat5 cable connected to your internet router which makes connecting this Hub and connecting your existing cameras to the Hub - EASY. The only problem that I think exist is the POOR instructions that come with the Hub. You have to grope thru the Hub "settings" to figure out how to get to the existing cameras and connect them to the Hub. AND you have to go thru all your existing cameras and re-set alarms, lights, and maybe other settings (turn off continuous recording) you had for individual cameras. This hub also booted off one of my older cameras because that camera's data program was outdated, and when I tried to update the program, Reolink says that I already have the latest program available - so that camera (MP5 from 2023) is worthless. All my complaining aside, so far, I think this is a really great Hub that will do just about everything a homeowner will need if Reolink can make some dependable cameras for a change.

Bought this because I bought an atlas ultra wifi camera and wanted it on it own network. I have since returned the atlas camera due to outside weather issues. Kept this for my other POE cameras. Way better then Arlo system and more secure as everything is stored locally and not out in the cloud. The NVR has a few functions that you don't get with normal camera like highlighting object that it detected and event alarms so you can just look at the detection and not scroll the video.

The initial setup is straightforward, although more detailed instructions would be beneficial. I encountered some difficulties with viewing saved recordings, but this was resolved after Reolink support provided an updated firmware. Overall, this product is a worthwhile investment, particularly if you have Reolink cameras and lack their NVR.

The Reolink Home Hub Pro works as a storage device for your security cameras. It is able to work with both wired and wireless cameras. In addition to standalone cameras, you are able to connect video doorbells. Your connected devices can be easily monitored once they are connected to the hub. There is 2 TB of space included and you are able to expand the storage space up to 16TB by swapping the hard drive out with a larger one. You can even add a microSD card as a storage option as well. The hub is very light, when you pick it up you may be surprised at the weight expecting it to be much heavier than it actually is.In addition to storage of your video content, the hub is capable of sending notifications based on the alarms you configure. There is also an audible siren that can be set to go off during certain events. The device is modern looking and comes in all white. There is a round button at the front of the unit that lights up and pressing this button will allow you to silence any ongoing alarms. On the back of the unit you will find a speaker, a WAN port, a LAN port, a reset button, a micro SD card slot, hard drive slot, two USB ports, an HDMI output port, and the power DC input. This hub is powered using a 12V DC power supply which is included. When you open the hard drive slot you will have a plastic tray to use to mount your hard drive. There are pads at the bottom of the device to prevent it from sliding around your desktop. The unit is capable of using encryption to keep the contents of your drives secure. You are able to share access with friends and family and are able to add 10 additional accounts beyond the standard administrator user. This hub is able to connect using the Wi-Fi 6 protocol in order to achieve a strong connection and high data transfer speeds. You have a small booklet included which will provide some basic operational instructions. Apart from the booklet and the Home Hub Pro unit itself, you have a power adapter, flat ethernet cable, hard drive, screws and a needle for resets included. The hard drive is a Toshiba 2 TB drive and is meant for use in surveillance equipment since it has a 128MiB cache buffer and can support up to 32 high-definition camera streams. The drive comes sealed in an anti-static bag for protection. The Reolink Home Hub Pro is the best way to manage your Reolink devices in a central way from inside your own home, without the need for costly monthly cloud subscriptions. It can work without the need for an internet connection and uses your local network instead of internet bandwidth. You are able to maintain the control over your own recording data so that you know it is remaining private.

Pros:- Integrates seamlessly with your existing Reolink cameras, adding local storage and centralized control and smart home features. Setup is quick and straightforward using the Reolink app.- I really appreciate the fact that the system has no monthly fee, which after the upfront cost will provide a lot of savings in the long term. I much prefer to truly own something outright than to be dependent on an online service with a monthly fee.- Also in addition to being great for privacy, the local storage is great due to the fact that it works offline when wi-fi goes down. In an emergency situation, you can't rely on having a working internet connection, so this local system gives me peace of mind.- It's very cool that it comes with a standard, full size 3.5" SATA drive of 2 TB, made by Toshiba. These types of drive are quite reliable, and I like the fact that you can easily upgrade them to up to a 16 TB drive if you have higher storage needs.- The hub also features a loudspeaker that can serve as an intrusion alarm and doorbell chime which I find quite useful.Cons:- None.Current title: Reolink Home Hub Pro, Centralized Control for up to 16 Security Cameras, up to 16TB HDD Storage, AES-128 Encryption, 8K Streaming, Wi-Fi 6, and 120dB Siren. No Monthly Fees

This Reolink Home Hub Pro is an excellent solution for onsite storage of my home's security camera and video doorbell footage. It can also serve as the video doorbell's chime, and as a very loud 120dB alarm siren as well.Currently, I have it connected to 1 video doorbell, and 5 security cameras. In my setup, I had perviously setup the video doorbell and the video security cameras. I got this Home Hub Pro later, and setup was a breeze, and I could easily connect the previously setup cameras to the hub. Moving forward, I can configure the hub to automatically add any Reollink cameras that I add to my system.Using the mobile app on my Android phone or the Windows client on my laptop, I could easily access the live video feeds and the recorded videos. However, there's a 2 to 3 second of delay in accessing the live video feed when connecting from the mobile app or the Windows client to the Home Hub. It's not a big deal though as it's fairly typical of most home-based systems.Included with the Home Hub Pro is a 2TB hard drive that's also expandable to 16TB, which is more than sufficient for home use. In addition, you can also add microSD card to boost the storage. There's also an option to encrypt the video data on the drives.

The Reolink home is easy to set up. It can control multiple cameras including my video doorbell. I like that it has lots of storage without having to have a subscription. The hub is simple to use.
