I mean it's exactly what you'd expect, so I'll only mention the things I didn't expect:- the plastic material for the keys has this slight purple color. More specifically, it's as if the color of the plastic is correct but the coating causes a purple shine? It's not a big deal.- the keyboard swap process takes 2-3 hours, but you don't have to take the cooler heatsinks off of the motherboard and therefore you don't need any extra liquid metal or thermal paste.- If you decide to freshen up the liquid metal and get rid of any oxidation, keep in mind the process for factory-assembled liquid metal cooling solutions is not like DIY. Look for PS5 repairs for examples.- there's 50-60 screws holding the (very flexible) keyboard to the metal frame that goes between the keys. The screws are easy to strip, even with a proper P000 bit. It's also easy to over tighten them and ruin the holes they screw into. I ruined 3 screws and 3 holes.- there's a giant black sticker on the underside of the stock keyboard... not sure what that's for, maybe light bleed? in any case, I didn't transfer it to the new keyboard since I kind of ruined it.

The packaging could have been better. Received it broken the 1st time.The keyboard seems to working perfectly so far.It is backlit as well. The RGB is also working perfectly for my Asus Zephyrus G15 GA503QR 2021.I had trouble disassembling the laptop. The mother can be removed without removing the heatsinks but they are fragile so I had to remove them first.

I was admittedly nervous about replacing the keyboard in my laptop. I watched a few disassembly videos to understand what all was necessary. I have an electronics degree and have made/repaired a number of circuits, so I am comfortable with a lot of this kind of stuff. I just didn't want to mess something up and have to replace the whole laptop. That's why I even searched for a replacement. All in all it took maybe an hour from start to finish, and that's with being super careful. The biggest thing was to make sure that none of the heat pipe on the CPU/GPU were bent in the process.The biggest pain in the rear was just the sheer number of screws holding the keyboard to the frame. There were also a couple of "extra" holes in the keyboard compared to the one I removed. I didn't have the backlight issue some of the people have talked about. Once I plugged all of the ribbon cables back in and reassembled everything the laptop booted right up with backlight and all. The keys maybe don't feel as precise as the original, perhaps a little sponge-y, but this is a very minor comparison. All of the keys work, which is the important thing.

This product saved my $2000 laptop. Fit my Asus G15 GA503Q perfectly. If you're like me and bought the low quality garbage that ASUS is now putting out and need a replacement keyboard, this worked amazingly. Took about an hour and a half to install.Tip: Make sure you have some extra thermal paste/ liquid metal for your other component's.

All the keys function perfectly but the backlighting isn't working.

My laptop was involved in an accident where some liquid was spilled and, before it could be cleaned, enough managed to seep into the keyboard that several keys stopped working, even after multiple rounds of cleaning and drying.Purchased this keyboard because it was one of the few offering prime shipping and it arrived on-time, two days after the order was placed.I've done a lot of laptop repairs in the past, anything from simple upgrades, battery swaps, screen/fan replacements, and even a motherboard or two, but replacing this keyboard was one of the most difficult repairs I've ever performed.To replace the keyboard you must remove the motherboard. Several videos suggest removing the fans/heatsink, but I opted to simply remove the motherboard/fans/heatsink together and just carefully flip it over out of the way. This part was actually pretty easy and revealed the keyboard.Replacing the actual keyboard itself is where the difficulty increases. First you have to carefully peel back the plastic cover stuck to the back of the existing keyboard and this reveals the next challenge, the keyboard is held to the case with ~70 extremely tiny screws which must all be removed. Be sure to take a picture of exactly what screws are installed as the keyboard has about 75 holes, but a few seemed to not be used, for whatever reason (maybe slightly different per laptop model/keyboard layout, not really sure). These screws are incredibly small and extremely shallow, and getting each one removed and then put back was extremely time consuming. I spent about 3 hours in total on the repair.Probably 15 minutes was wasted because one of the screws appeared to be stripped from the factory. Nothing I could do managed to budge it loose. Since the existing keyboard was broken anyway, I eventually just destroy the keyboard enough to pop it off without removing that single screw and then worked the screw out with a pair of needle nose pliers. This left me with one too few screws, but I strategically selected a spot that appeared to already have plenty of support and, so far, I can't tell that it is missing.After powering the laptop back on I thought the LED backlight was not working, it just kept changing modes and I couldn't toggle the modes with the keyboard like normal, but, after about 5-10 minutes or so, this seemed to just self correct. I'm not sure if it was flashing firmware or what (they keyboard worked the entire time, only the lighting was inconsistent). After this time it suddenly settled into my previous settings (static color, 2/3rds brightness) and the keyboard toggle started working and everything seems as good as the original keyboard.Overall, none of the problems I experienced were the result of this product, so this vendor and the part get 5 stars.If you have less experience with laptop repair or lack the patience to remove and replace ~70 tiny screws, some vendors sell the entire top shell with the keyboard already in it. This requires swapping the mother board and display cables/hinges to a new top shell, so also not easy, but probably would likely take less time overall. These top shell+keyboard combos are significantly more expensive though, but I think it's worth noting. Good luck!

Keyboards are difficult to replace but it works. Took me 5 hours though

Me decidí por comprar es Teclado para mi Asus Zephyrus M16 GU603ZM, debido a que después de 7 meses de uso, comenzó a tener problemas con las Teclas 2wsxz donde a veces detectaba o no 😔 las pulsaciones.Después de instalar este Teclado que me llegó, problema solucionado y hasta se sienten muy bien las teclas y funciono muy bien con la retroiluminacion.Se los recomiendo si tienen el mismo problema que tenia yo. Solo esperare un tiempo y actualizaré mi opinión para decirles que tal me ha funcionado.
