Decided id give this a shot since Kangen replacements are close to $100 with shipping. I can happily say the filter works great with no odd installation abnormalities or leaking. I did compare the filters side by side and although there is a slight difference to the inner diameter of one of the two holes on the filter the outer diameter remains the same and it doesnt seem to have any effect on the flow.To make it simple: filter works, im back to clean tasting water and im super happy.My guess is all the people commented before didn't read the guide that explain the differences and which filter to order.

My alkaline water unit has a filter that polishes the water that goes through it. This filter is a generic at one third the cost. Fits and works well....

We got this filter to replace the one in our Kagen water purifier. Same filter for a much better price than if you got it direct from the rep or their store. Don't fall for their super steep mark ups because this is exactly what you need at a much better price.
