Used for my pool cleaner (suction line) hose in the pool. I have two labs that love to swim but always bump the hose loose from safety fitting. With pump running you can not open safety valve to hook hose back in. Installed valve to pool fitting and the safety hose fitting on the other side. Now I can just close the valve, plug hose back in and then open valve back up.

I wanted to add a shut-off to my skimmer and this just screwed right on super easy. And it's easy to work for the random times i need to shut off the water.

I put these on my pool line to shut off a in and out line. After spending hours on install, cementing new pipes, etc. the things leak. I couldn’t really test before using, but wish I would have figured a way out. The one on my line to the pool isn’t a super big deal. Just a little drip. But the one coming from the pool to my pump sucks air through it breaking that vacuum seal and stopping the entire pump from pulling water. I put epoxy weld around the junctions to stop the leak and it did for long enough for me to order something else but I don’t trust it for a long term.Waste of money.

Awesome slice valve, has made back flushing pool a breeze. Will be purchasing another one to replace another valve that make will speed up the job even more.
