I like the look of the plug, it appears like a factory installed piece when done. I was repairing a typical 16/2 orange cord, two issues. 1) being ABS plastic it’s very rigid, the cover didn’t fit over the orange insulation, I had to ream it out with a drill bit. 2) the 16 ga wire barely fits between the grounding connection and the cover. It pushes the cover to the side making it difficult to assemble straight. 14 ga wire would have to be even more difficult.I didn’t care for how rigid it is. Because of that it’s difficult, for some reason, to insert into an outlet. Probably because of the ground prong issue.I like the look, I like the cord clamp, the rest - not so much. In the end they do the job.

Definitely the hardest ones I've ever worked with. Hard to get the wires around the screws with these...

Screws attached to prongs were set so hard the little screwdriver supplied just stripped them. Tried first plug, couldn't loosen one side. Ok, I figured production mistakes happen. Next two plugs all screws stripped trying to loosen them. When you look at these...move along.

First time doing something like replacing a plug but I didn't want to have to buy a whole new treadmill because my dog used the cord as a chew toy. There's definitely a learning curve but the video here and some YouTube helped a lot and now I can use my treadmill! So happy and grateful! Definitely recommend this as a product!
