Heating Pad for Reptile Tank

How to use ?
- Clean the surface of the terrarium.
- Turn on the reptile mat and heat it for a while to make it spread out.
- Tear off the double-sided 3M tape and stick it on the wordless side of the mat.
- Place the heating pad on the bottom of the tank or stick it to the side.
- Gently rub heat pad to make firm contact don't remove the heat pad once it has been attached to your terrarium.
- Heavy duty waterproof PVC enclosure, long lasting and easy to clean.
- Provides gentle and uniform heat from 22 to 122℉.
- The heating pad can be used under or to the side of the tank or vivarium.
- Ideal for use with reptile, amphibian, small animals or plant terrariums.
Bottom & Side Mount
Ideal for use with reptile, amphibian, small animals or plant terrariums. Adhesive side sticks directly to your terrarium for optimum heat transfer. Before using double-side tape to fix the tank, you must connect the power to let the surfaces of heating pad will be smooth so that paste better sticker.
3M Adhesive Paper
Come with 3M adhesive paper, provides a strong grip to the contact area for optimum heat transfer. The heat mat stays exactly where you want it. Let the heating pad be heated for a while before using 3M adhesive paper, the heating pad will become more fiat, so the 3M adhesive paper can be better adhered.

I was excited to get this. I'm happy I didn't wait until Christmas to set up the new frog tank be abuse he wpukd have fried. I read the directions, I unplugged it multiple times but no matter what it goes backup to 120.. this item is getting returned.

I have only had the product for a few days but, at this point at least,it operates as advertisedIt's easy to set the temp. and is consistent when it reaches it's set point.

The pad heats up just fine. And you can set a temperature- however it just runs away and continues to heat all the way up to its maximum. Nothing I tried would get it to actually hold the desired temperature. The instructions were helpful with setting up the timer mode, but no matter how many times I unplugged it, let it cool down and then reset it with a desired temp- would it actually stop at that temp. I'm not trying to cook my pet so this is a no go for me unfortunately.

It gets hot but does not stay at set temperature. No matter how many times I set a direct temp, the heating pad keeps heating up to the max temperature.

This reptile heating pad comes in a printed box that tells you about all the features it has. Inside the box are the pad, a large double sided stick pad the same size as the heater, and instructions. The pad, cord, and heating controls are all one piece so no assembly is required. Just plug and use!The digital temperature control on this heater is fantastic. Most heaters come with a dial control that goes from low to high and you have to measure the temperature to know how hot it is. This one comes with a digital control that can switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius, and increments in 1/10 of a degree. It is accurate to within +/- 1`F when checked with an infrared thermometer. The heater seems to turn on and off automatically to maintain temperatures within that band.I like to keep the house fairly cool, so this heating pad is used to keep seedlings started at the right temperature until it is warm enough to bring them outside. It works great!
