This lamp is perfect. I had low expectations for the price point, but I was pleasantly surprised! It's very stable for its height- the base is a lot heavier than it looks, but not too heavy to move easily. It could definitely be knocked over by a pet or child, but as long as it's left alone, it'll stand up and hold its pose!Clearly I'm not using it for reptile purposes. I actually got this lamp so I could put a grow bulb in it and hang that bulb directly over a baby Monstera deliciosa that I rescued from the trash. And for that, it works a real treat. The switch is reliable and easy to use, the lamp keeps the light at the perfect height, and it's honestly not an unattractive piece of furniture.I will likely be buying more of these in the future, for both plant and pet related reasons!

It is sturdy, adjustable, and supports the weight of the light. There are even Velcro pieces included to secure the light cord.

This is exactly what I have been looking for.I put a grow light bulb in it and will be using it for my house plants.I love everything about it. It has several adjustable heights and an adjustable swing arm. Very easy to put together. Very well made.I will be purchasing at least two more.

Cool design, basically a repurposed combination of a speaker stand and microphone boom arm which is very effective.Worth the price and is the best way to hang your heating lamp at the height you desire while taking up close to no space

I really like this light stand, it worked well for what I was using it for, which was over my dogs whelping box. I liked that I was able to easily adjust the height. The stand also came apart easily for storage. I had to use a weight to hold it in place so it wouldn't accidentally fall over.

This is a totally excellent lamp. It’s light, stable, easy to assemble and can handle a hot, high wattage bulb.

This stand works as described. The adustable height comes in handy, and the arm adusts easily. So far, it's sturdy, but we have the bottom part under our enclosure. The bottom is weighted though, so it would work as a stand-alone.
