They fit perfectly in the sink compost canister lid for a stink free kitchen. Hard to find in stores but I can count on finding hard to find items like this filter on Amazon.

I have kitchen under counter compost bin. I purchased these so that I have a supply on hand to periodically replace the bin filter with a fresh filter. These fit perfectly and work gret.

These filters are half the thickness of the filters from the Exaco brand where you get 3 for 15.99. So either you can double up the Resinta brand filters, where you'd end up getting basically 4 filters for 10.99, or if you used each filter individually, you'd probably have to change them out more often. Either way, it's a better deal than 3 for 15.99... so might as well! It does fit in my Exaco 2.4 Gal compost filter spot.

Ordered for my wife for compost bucket and it was easy, cause you don't have to cut squares out every 2 or 3 months to change them. Worth the convenience of a quick change.

This size/shape is very hard to find. I purchased my compost bin many years ago from Storables. I used to get the filters there too but they were $12 for two of them! Over the years they have been near impossible to find, and Storables was always out of them. Granted, they were a little thicker than these are, but for the price, you can put two of them in the top of the bucket. This is a great value for the price and they fit inside the green compost bin just like the picture shows. Great Value!

Not sure how (and I don't really want to know how), but I have 3 separate compost bins in my garage and you'd never know, as these little carbon things seem to capture the smell.

I bought these because they were considerably cheaper than the manufacturer's replacements. But they are less than half the thickness of the original. I tried using just one-- Poor filtering-- becomes stinky very quickly.I used to just have an old pot I used for compost-- left open, I think it smells less than keeping it closed. In hot weather I covered the pot and put it in the fridge. Someone gave me one of these green buckets, and the town has contracted with a firm to do compost-- free if we deliver it to the dump-- so I thought this would be easier to use, at least in the winter. I haven't tried the company's replacements-- though the first one lasted a long time.However, I'm not convinced that paying money for any of these filters is worth it. Plus, then you have plastic waste to dispose of, in landfill or burning.
