I've used better construction and sound in the past. The stick doesn't fit slide in for easy storage and the sound quality is just not as sharp. Being that I use it with children four and under, I just let a helper bang the crap out of it and it does it's job for the price I bought it for.

We have used this as a sensory tool for our son and he loves to see how long he can hear it. Good tone and solid craftsmanship. I wonder how long the strings will hold tight, but for now it’s in good shape. I wish it would ring a little longer, but it serves our need.
