I put this pair of radios on my wish list and received them as a gift the other day. One of the reasons these radios were on my wish list is because the advertising showed a USB-A cable with the radio. Cool! I can just charge it with my 100 different USB chargers I have in the car, the boat, and the house... Nope. Their car adapter and wall adapter both output 13.8 Volts. They have orange stickers on them telling you not to use them for anything else. Other radio manufacturers, like Baofeng and B-Tech, have radios that use the USB-C charging ports and standard 5V USB chargers. Still, the Retevis is a solid, good sounding radio. I only subtracted 1 star for the annoying USB cable arrangement. Also of note is that the batteries are rechargeable AAAs. This is OK since I can keep a package of Duracell AAAs just in case the rechargeable batteries are dead. The battery compartment does have an O-ring seal to keep water out which furthers my assessment of the radios well built 4 star quality.

Charged once, will not charge again.The customer service is a chinese run around and around, no help.They will not send parts or service or help.Get a different product, these don't work and no support at all.

Buen alcance para su precio,Pero no son impermeables como doce, ya que 1 de mis radios solamente se salpico en repetidas ocaciones (jamás se sumergio en agua)Se mojo la pantalla y dejo de funcionar
