I’ve been shopping for a hose reel for my garage for quite a while and this one, which is new to the market, got my attention. It was well packaged but the four screws were floating loose in the box. The wall plugs weee in a plastic bag taped to the inside of the box, so I suspect the screws fell out of the bag during shipping. I love the tough double arm construction and the fact that it came with quick connectors. It also comes with a 4’ hose to connect the compressor to the hose reel. Unfortunately, for me, this hose was too short. No problem, I had lots of hose kicking around. The hose comes out, locks , and goes back in very smoothly. So far I’m pretty impressed with the quality of the unit. Time will tell as to how well it holds up.

So many Air Hose Reals on the market. This one stood out because of how you can adjust the arm and the angle of the rollers for smooth action. I have only just installed it 2/20/25 so far so good. But it dosent feel cheep and the mounting bracket is awesome. My only criticism. Is wish it was a larger line like 1/2 inch

My shop has had a hose reel for years, for so long that, as the hose has dried out and leaked air, I have had to cut off pieces of it. I've cut so much that it no longer reaches the corners of my shop. This is going to be the replacement and the old one will be relocated to a place that doesn't require the length.Everything is included to properly mount the reel. The small instruction manual includes a template for where to pre-drill mounting holes. The mounting hardware escaped from the little plastic bag and were found loose at the bottom of the box but all were present, 4 each of hex bolts and plastic anchors. Installation is simple: using the template, install the bolts first into a slid backing, leaving the head 1/2" proud. Next, simply slide the mounting plate's keyholes over the bolts. Than, tighten bolts down to secure. The frame of the reel is built from a heavy guage metal and does not flex at all when mounted. I like the ability to adjust the angle at which the hose is reeled out. This enable horizontal or a vertical mount. It is the dead of winter now and my shop is not insulated, this hose remained flexible at sub-freezing temperatures. It is a full 3/8" ID and thus provides significant airflow. That comes in handy for spray painting. I did notice the OD being a tad smaller so that allows the 50' hose to fit on the same size reel as my 25' 5/8" hose reel. A nice, and expectated accessory, is the lead hose that connects to the reel air intake...alas, no plumbers' tape was included. But, the lead did have a male connector ready to insert into the female connector of the air source. This is not a cheap reel, in fact, it is at the top end of the price range for 50' reels. It is a quality reel and I have high expectations for its longevity.

This is a well-built, quality-looking air hose reel. This thing has some serious heft to it like what you'd expect from a commercial hose reel. The mechanism for locking and releasing works properly every time which is important to me. I froze the lead hose in the freezer to see how flexible it would be at zero degrees Fahrenheit. While it is pretty stiff it is still flexible and does bend so I'm thinking the reel will be ok at those low temps as well. If I get any really low temps here I'll update this review with those low temp functioning observations. Another big positive for me is that the lead hose and the hose on the reel come with 1/4" male fittings with the chuck and adapter threaded on. That makes it much easier to install the twist-lock chuck and adapter I use. Some air tools, hoses, etc. come with the chuck or adapter crimped/molded on making for more work to get them to work with my setup. I'm giving this 5 stars but I'll update this review if anything changes.

This is a pretty nice reel that I would put in the "medium duty" category for garage-type reels. Some of the heavier duty units have enclosing shells. This one is open to the elements, but it has a nice sturdy axle and good motion. The air hose itself is nice, made of a strong inner tube and a flexible (soft) outer jacket. The action is smooth and the metal components feel sturdy.I need to clean out part of the garage and make space to install this so look for post-installation photos in a couple of months. Right now I can't give a full review.

I ordered this Relhost Retractable Air Hose Reel for my garage. I wanted to clean up the compressor hoses laying on the floor around my compressor. This unit arrived plainly, but well packaged in a heavy duty cardboard box. The unit mounted up to my wall easily enough. Adequate hardware is included, but I opted to use my own heavier duty hardware. The included 50Ft air hose appears to be very good quality and is nicely flexible. The reel itself functions very well smooth extraction and retraction. Has enough power to reel the whole length of hose in. I am very happy with it.

I've had a 25-foot hose reel in the garage, but I've wanted a 50-foot for a long time. This new reel is much nicer than the one I had. The hose is more flexible, while still being large diameter for running high-demand air tools. The construction of the reel is far more robust than the one I had. Because the fairlead is adjustable in position, I can mount the reel horizontally or vertically.
