This lens hood fits an excellent Canon lens. You don't need, and don't have to pay for, the same skill level to make a lens shade. This fits and does the job.

Buying cheap third party hoods are normally a waste of money. Commonly, fit is bad and material are poor. Surprisingly, this was not the case with this hood. With the OEM version unavailable, one is left with little options. However, this hod fits perfectly the canon RF 600 f11 IS and it even has some nice heft to it. It works so well, that I might just forgo the original Canon hood when it becomes available.

Works great. Screws on with ease. Wish it was quicker to put on and take off. One other good thing is you can still use the front lens cap.

This was the perfect fit for my new Canon RF 800mm f/11 IS. The hood locks in place securely, and was a fraction of the price that I would have paid Canon. And, it's much better than treking around the beach without protection for the lens.I can't credit the hood alone for the great pictures I'm getting with the new lens. But, it hasn't hurt!

I have bought several JJC lens hoods for my Canon lenses and have been super impressed with them. They are very well made, are reversible and have a locking mechanism that keeps them on the lens, easily released by depressing a button before unscrewing from the lens. You will not be disappointed. A great value.

Está bueno, cumple su función, trae un botón para montar y desmontar, funciona correctamente, no se nota, ni se siente tan ligero ni de calidad como el "original" canon, pero sirve igual, ni nadie notará la diferencia.Recomendado.

The lens hood fits the lens perfectly fine, and unlike one of the review I faced no issues with reversing the hood on the lens! The build quality seems great and for 1/3 of the price of the Canon hood! I would definitely recommend
