Honestly for the price it's great. Fit perfectly and easy on/off. Has the locking tab/button which is a nice plus. Considering how much cheaper it is than the official canon one I can't find any fault with it, and I own a bunch of canon gear with official canon lens hoods. It's definitely a cheaper feeling plastic, but it's a lens hood... It's just fine if it is. I'm more concerned with it's fit and how easy it is to remove/place on the lens. For $12 if it breaks I won't feel bad.

I was looking to buy the canon hood for my RF 100- 400 mm lens and I saw this one for a fraction of the price. I was reluctant to buy a 3rd party so I called my camera store and was told they all work the same. It fits perfect, is easy to put on and off and locks into place. Nice and light weight. Great value for the price!

I got this for a Canon RF 100-400 and it fits nicely, has a button release and functions well for what it is. Only minor ding is that inside surface of the hood is not matt color or fuzzy to deter reflected light, but that’s really minor and it functions fine as is.

The hood arrived in perfect condition and attach easily and match perfect the RF100-400 lens. It does not look that the quality of the material is too high, but it is ok according to the price

Fantastic lens cover, no jiggling at all! I had previously bought a different lens cover, but to my dismay, it didn't fit perfectly and jiggled around a lot. This lens cover fits tight, and doesn't shake or move at all, perfect!

Good price. Fast shipping. Well constructed. This is the second lens hood I bought from this company. Totally impressed with fit and finish. Fits like a glove on the RF 100-400mm. Button release. Great lens protection. The other one is for my RF 800mm F11. Stores reversed on lens, minimal bulk. Most highly recommended.

Coloqué este parasol en un objetivo RF 24-105mm y en las fotos a distancia focal de 24mm, se ve la sombra de los pétalos en la parte inferior, por lo que interfieren en la fotografÃa.

Got this hood for my Canon EF-M 18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM Lens and it fits perfectly. The material is quite sturdy. The price is pretty cheap and affordable. The hood is reversible which is convenient for storing in bag when not in use. I would recommend.

This is exactly what it’s meant to be. No problem screwing it on, removing, reversing, etc. Does what you expect and want it to do.
