I have two of these wired up to a homemade Christmas light/all year around light project I made. It is outside in a waterproof outdoor electrical box. Been running for about 10 months straight currently with no issue. Easy to work in and I don't have any complaints with it.

Remember you will have 120V exposed wiring when done, so you NEED to put this in an enclosure. First one I received died about 4 days in, but the other 3 have lasted nicely.

These are great. They provide ample regulated current for Arduinos and their attachments (especially LED strips which are amperage-hungry at 5V). To connect this to the wall, I sliced the female end off of https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0153T1NF8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and attached the 3 cords where appropriate. I used a multimeter to confirm that the voltage was 5V (which is tunable using a small screwdriver). Now, it's powering several projects. So good that I bought two.

Written on the top is"Notice: This power supply is built-in fan on/off control circuit. fan automatically works according to working temperature."This is not true and the fan is so loud you cannot use this anywhere quiet.But it does provide 5v power.

The fan came apart have to open it and snap it back in place...warranty is now shot. It's a very good power supply....the output voltage is constant and I got 40 amps out of it . Very loud..but it's in the garage so no worries.
