I have purchased and used this product successfully three other times. The two that I just purchased gave surprising results.The adaptor which converts the 12v plug to two terminals worked for a few days, but then suddenly stopped working, possibly shorting out the power module. Since I bought two of them, I tried the other adaptor, and it also worked for a few days, then acted up as well.The power module puts out the specified 12v when the adaptor is removed from the 12v jack. I have since cut off the Jack and stopped using the adaptor, and it works properly.I was also unimpressed with the 120v input connector on the power module, it was consistently loose and ready to fall out.Quality control for this product has waned.I would not buy it again.

At 80% load(4A), the connectors are starting to get a little warm; as my final application will involve removing the connector, I'm not concerned, but for anyone using these as is, be wary. On the bright side, these units will actually deliver 4A without issue so far, which isn't always the case with other vendors products.
