I've tried several of these types of locks and returned them all until this one. I'm not sure why, but this one programmed the key cards and fobs first time out, and was easy to line up using double sided tape provided. Don't expect to use the templates provided, as they are unclear. The instructions were good enough to get it functioning and all the mounting hardware worked as expected. This lock is a deterrent, in that a small pry bar would easily defeat it. But it will keep prying eyes or children out of your drawer or cabinet.

Set up looks a bit complicated. Instructions aren't very clear. I haven't had time to install yet. I opened and looked at the lock and instructions the day it arrived. If Amazon allows I'll update review when I have time to install

The product itself works without any problems; however the seller - Navkar systems - is unreliable.The first time I ordered, the package went back from final delivery station, and I got a report of 'undeliverable'. I don't know what the problem was.The second time I ordered, I got the lock, but there were several items missing. The instruction booklet, the two sided tape and the USB cable was missing.There was no response from the seller in spite of multiple attempts.By referring to youtube videos and other reviews, I was able to setup the cards. It works through an 20mm ply sheet plus laminate without any problems. The alignment was tricky, but not impossible. I cannot yet vouch for the battery life, as I have just installed it. So far I'm happy with the product, but the experience was marred due to the sloppy vendor.Will update later when I have used it for a while
