My water heater indicator was off, I figured that may be some problem with power. When open the cover of water heater, this item looks like a power generator or capacitor; So I just ordered to see if it will work, boom! It works and powers right up!

This week my Rheem tankless water heater stopped working and displayed error code 11. I called Rheem not much help so I called a plumber they suggested replacing the whole unit for which would have cost over 6k. So I watched several YouTube videos that finally let me to this part. Took me 5 mins maybe less to install and it worked instantly. Thank you so much for having this part for sale!!! I went to several hardware stores and no one sold this part.

The Plummer wanted to replace our entire tankless water heater because they didn’t know what error 11 was. They quoted us $8200. I think I choked when they said that. After Googling and YouTubing, the most common problem with them is this ignition coil going bad given that it is the only mechanical piece in the box. The new part to my house in two day, I followed the RIDICULOUSLY EASY installation on YouTube, and *poof* we have hot water. Highly recommend trying to replace this part if you’re experiencing tankless water heater issues.

Water wasn’t heating in our home. Checked out a few threads and YouTube videos and it looked like it was an igniter coil issue. Bought this item, super easy to replace and water heating is working again.
