They are fairly inexpensive, reliable and get hot. What more can you ask?Any element will fail when surrounded with lime deposits insulating the heat transfer to water. The difference becomes apparent when you go to extract the element from the tank. This type is relatively easy to coax out through the 1†hole compared to the “quality†expensive “long lifeâ€models that are almost impossible to deal with. And, as we all know, leaving remnants of old elements behind is not best practice. For the sake of simplicity and efficiency this is a good bet that I have found to be reliable. All elements cost the same to make water hot, regardless of how much you have paid for them.

After 20 years our old water heater wasn't heating up as much anymore. I order this set and quickly got it back to normal! Make sure you turn the power and keep it off until you refill the tank
