These offer a very good, cheap way of transporting your kayak. I purchased a set to place in between two sets of J carriers, which are mounted on the outer left and right sides of my rack. This way I can get three boats on top. Fits the Rhino aero style rack perfectly. Something to keep in mind with this type of mount however is to not over tighten your bow or stern ties. It doesn't take much force to deform the bottom of your kayak. On the J carriers, the boats are torqued down laterally where they are stronger and more resistant to deformation. These are fine, just don't over tighten, or leave on the rack for extended periods of time without relieving tension on your straps.

I use these with my Rhino Rack Vortex RS323B rack. It works great on my longboard and should work well with other size boards as well. The foam seems to hug the board really well with just two tie-down straps and I feel confident that my board is secure. They do make a slight whistling noise on occasion while traveling ~45mph. Other than that, they are quiet and the whistling goes away at lower and higher speeds. I suspect that the noise they make may also depend on the vehicle they are used on. They slip onto and off of my crossbars easily which is great so I can take them off and put them in my car when not in use just to avoid getting them stolen.

They fit and work very well on my Rhino Rack. I haven't found another solution that works as well - the Rhino aero bars are fairly wide. They fit snug but I am concerned that someone may steal them so I've not been leaving them on the racks when not in use. Also, when on the racks without boards, they whistle quite a bit while driving over 30 mph.

The pads fit the cargo rack of my Tesla just fine. I would recommend these rack pads to anyone who needs them.

It fits perfect on the rhino roof rack, fits good with my SUP. Just doesn't seem to be quality work. Kind of reminds me of pool noodles painted black. Nothing wrong with the product it works as intended.

This worked great on a Subaru vehicle with crossbars. Easy to install and much better than other types I have purchased in the past. They can be taken off easily too when you aren't using them.

These are terrible.1. They are not durable at all. First time we loaded the kayak onto these pads a large chunk was ripped out of one of the pads from simply trying to shift the boat on top of the car before strapping it down. Not worth the price tag.2. They are not as depicted. The ones we received have Rhino Rack in huge white lettering on the front and back of the pads, not in small print on the sides like the images show. They should really have to update their images if they are going to enlarge their branding to that degree. Not everyone wants to be a free advertisement for the company.

These have worked pretty well on my stock Volvo roof rack with oval bars. They are very soft and squishy. Whatever you put on there really sticks which makes it so you don't have to tie it down quite so tight. I like that they are easily removable so you can take them off and throw them in the back when not in use. It seems like the material is very durable and they will probably be with me for a while.

Bought these as I could not find anything in Canada to fit my TracRac. The hole is 3†wide and about 1 1/4†high which is a pretty tight fit for my 4†x 1 5/8†Thule rack. Would be nice to add the dimensions of the hole to the product description. But, it does go on there, doesn’t move, and is “good enoughâ€. Does what it is supposed to do. Minus one star for price...$50 for a couple of pieces of foam is tough to swallow...but ya gotta do what ya gotta do when ya wanna have fun with yer yaks...comparable products are similarly priced. One person’s review shows pics of the foam tearing. Guy probably did not follow the instructions. I had no problem installing without damage, even on my oversized rack.

I've bought this last year with a set of straps for my second kayak instead of investing in a second set of Yakima Jay Low bars. There is already more wear than I think I should be seeing after having used it only a few times. Can't say that I'm not satisfied, you sometimes need to make cheaper choices, but buying J-bar would be a smarter one if you have the cash. Time will tell how long I will be able to use this product before it needs to be replaced.
