Looking for something to protect my Hobie Lynx while loading and transporting. Tried a pool noodle at first but was not happy with the results, so bought these and they work much better, the nylon cover over the foam core allows the boat to glide very easily and they look much nicer. So I'm happy with them.

I wanted an extra set of pads for my rack but I didn’t want to spend a lot of money. These come in a two-pack but at a budget minded price. Easy to install.

If your crossbars are about three inches wide, prepare yourself for some difficulty. The foam inside wants to return to its pipe insulator shape, rather than lay on top of the crossbar. The width of the nylon covering requires the foam to compress as you wrap around the underside. Hook and loop bands have barely enough overlap to engage and hold down the cover. Certainly "aerodynamic" in that, it hugs the crossbars very tightly. Not convinced the narrow hook and loop engagement is enough to hold the pads in place while jostling the yak.

Easy to install and remove. Fit perfectly on my “Y†brand round bars. Worked great for carrying surfboard during 8 hour drive to the beach.

You can see one on my car. We ended up using both kayaks that day but you can see the fit and how it would work great for one if I took my double rack off.Lots of reviews say they couldn’t figure it out, I thought it was really easy. Also, the front one has been on for a while.

These crossbar pads seem to be made well and look good....however,they are sewn closed on the ends and i dont see any way to possibly mount them on a set of crossbars due to this. Maybe im missing something???? But for life of me, IDK WTF im missing

Nice product. A little different to install. The wrap looks great and is closed at both ends. The only problem is the crossbar has to pass through the ends. Had to bypass the ends to make it work. Still works fine.

Me ha gustado pero no hay instrucciones y no se cómo se coloca en las barras ya q no hay orificio en el lateral para pasar la barra.Ademas me hay llegado dos pares y no soy consciente de haber duplicado el pedido
