I've only had them on a couple of weeks so far. I like the look. Installation was not too difficult. I washed everything, dried it well and then used the cleaning wipes. Uniform application around the wheel is a bit tricky. It required laying on the ground to make sure I could see it all the way around. Jacking up the wheel so it could spin may be easier. I cut the ends of both the channel and color band a hair long so the end pressed together, preventing gaps. Pay special attention to cutting both square.

This is our second set of rim protectors. It protected one of our rims which required replacing with a new rim protector. I advise installing the rim protector at a garage temperature around 70 degrees for the best adhesion.

It looks great once you first install it. Stays on for a good while, but after it rains a couple times (i'm assuming it was because of the rain.) the adhesive will eventually wear off.At first it will just be a small peace that won't be sticking to the rim anymore. Then one day you'll get home and notice that its not on your rim anymore.One actually did protect my car from a curb. BUT its a one and done protection. The color and the adhesive came off.

This is a great product made well and RimPro-tec customer service is great! It is a worth every penny you spend and saves money for any damage in wheel repairs (IF you don’t have this). I did not have it on my previous car and when I returned it after the lease period ended, the dealership sent me a huge bill for the scruff marks on wheels that I had barely noticed or cared about. Now I have this on all my cars and the fun of having different color inserts! It is essential for everyone, even if you are a careful driver and park with all the visual assistance modern cars offer. Do follow all the instructions carefully as it is critical for it to work.

I got this hoping that it will protect my rims from road rash. Yesterday driving into a drive way my front rim got rash damaged and it didn't protect.
