We say no to Bonded Leather and anything else that isn’t the best. We use a multi-generational family-owned tannery that performs a precise, delicate tanning process ensuring a correct, long-lasting hue.
Leather Care Precautions：
1. Leather is prone to mildew when it is wet, so it should be stored in a cool, dry place for long-term storage.
2. Dust-covered leather can be wiped off with a soft cloth or brush to remove dust.
3. Be careful to reduce friction, otherwise, it will cause scratches on the leather surface.

I’m no expert in leatherwork but I needed some good heavy leather to make the hinge on a very special cedar wood box I was crafting to contain a fine art book. I used hand made copper nails, and added some Sno-Seal waterproofed to this leather, cut and punched the piece and was satisfied about longevity and feel. I also used it for the button latch, and to edge the box display stand that I made too. Very high quality stuff, and not a ton of leftover materials for me too.

The leather was received a day later than promised but I do not believe that is a seller issue. However, I needed this for a specific project that required 2 MM Leather as the product description indicated. The Leather I received was 3MM thick. I'm sure I will find a use for it as it is fine quality, but now I have to place an additional order in hopes to get thickness I need. Overall, nice product but inconsistent with what I purchased.

You know, it's funny, I ran to do this review and I see I could attach pics. Only thing is, I was so blown away at that care it was packaged, delivered, got down to the leather roll, beautiful satcheled with matching leather bow pretty much, unrolled it and it beautiful, flawless, I ran like I was incubating a little chicken egg to it's diy flat press, added books for weight, and I wait. But I never leave reviews, packaged, presentation, product, all 5 stars. So excited to make something with it because it's such a nice piece, I can't choose because I don't wanna run out of it lol. For that, i figured it was worth the time to say thank you and leave a review, all orders go to you now!

Made in China and it feels rubbery. Used some for a knife sheath. My leather cutting tools are having a hard time punching through and it does not take a leather stamp at all. Even with a 9oz ball peen hammerConsidering covering my craft table with this material. My new sheath is incredibly durable as it doesn't scratch like leather. I did resort to using a drill and some new sharp bits for making holes for stitching. My leather punches did not want to go through and the holes close up unless you have a hole puncher.I can't shape it like leather either. A sharp hobby knife will cut very cleanly. Does not sand very well with 60, 80, 120, 220, 300 or 600 grit paper.Material glues well. Kinda wish my work boots were made out of this stuff.Seems extremely water repellent. I think it's a great choice for generic holsters or sheathes.Works very well as a hobby mat.

This is my second order of the leather and it does not disappoint. It's very even in texture color and comes rolled up with a leather wrist band as a bonus. It's easy to work with and even engraves well with a laser.

I love the quality and feel of this leather, I’ve ordered it many times. I usually order color “Dark Brown†but the leather I receive is different every time. It’s not a slight color difference, but just a different option from the ones you can select. It would be nice if someone were to check that they’re sending out the right order to the right client. I e had to replace and deal with returns almost every time u order it.

Decent leather, however it does not have a uniform thickness of 2mm.The claim is that this is 2mm thick, when I measured it the piece was thinner over several areas.Since I specifically needed 2mm thickness the lack of uniformity is a disappointment.
