I have used an old Marson hand nutsert tool at home for many years. I have set thousands of nutserts with a $600+ pneumatic tool at work over time. I had a dozen or so to set at home and had broken the 1/4-20 mandrel on my old Marson tool. I'm really glad I chose to try this inexpensive tool rather than look for obsolete parts for my old one. It works well and is much easier to use. Maybe not as a production tool or as fast as an expensive pneumatic tool, but VERY convenient for small runs. I am quite pleased.

Since receiving a couple days ago i have already used over half of the included hardware. The tool provided makes installing these so quick and easy. For the money and quality i cant recommend this enough.

As a thirty year tech, this is one of the best tools I own. It makes installing nutcerts a breeze.

Tool works by threading bolt into rivnut to rivet the nut in place. As the bolt from the tool is threaded into the insert, it wears on the thread of the insert. I do not recommend this tool at all. 3rd insert I installed had to be drilled out due to damaged threads.

One of the best tool purchases I have made. This tool works great, you can use it with a drill but it works just as good with a socket wrench for hard to reach areas.

Ease of use product with excellent functionality. As far as the value for the money it could be a little bit better. I would rather the build quality be a little bit better also. I used a small die and the instructions does say that your need to be careful with the smaller ones. Which i tried my best to be. But I stripped it anyways. I did however contact the company about my issue and they helped me resolve it pretty promptly. They also suggest adding some kind of lubricant to the die to help keep them from stripping. Not sure how that would help but this was their suggestion. So next time I use it i will try this.

If you're looking for cheaply made products that will fruste you, then this is the tool you want. The threads rip off after not even 3 rivenuts, the allen key adapter strips, complete junk.
