The riv nut instructions say to drill the nut hole two sizes larger, I didn’t am I’m glad I didn’t because I would have had too large of a hole ! Drilled mine ONE size drill bit larger than the nut which you may size by trying the fit in your drill bit case. I love the tool, it’s super easy to use!

Low budget case with removable dividers resulted in partitions separating during shipment. The rivnut inserts intermingled and will require an hour or two to sort by size. Weighing inserts does not work as similar sizes (different threading) weigh similarly. The only recourse would be to sample thread each insert to determine metric vs inches of similar physical size. Also, for the two largest sizes were shortchanged by 2 parts. I am debating if this is worth my time or seek refund.Update: Seller, TrivdPro, contacted me after viewing my less than satisfying review and offered a full refund.

Rivnuts are fine, the case on the other hand is junk. Lid bowed up and all dividers came loose in shipping causing everything to mix together. Rivnuts are not labeled what size they are so every time you need one you get to dig throw hundreds to find it. Happy hunting.
