It’s a big filter and so far it’s working very well. I’m sure it will hold up your many years. I haven’t used the cleaning feature yet but I’m sure it will work well. I will update this review once I have more time on the filter.

This is a great filter. It is larger than I expected which is good for a filter. The handle on top is for self cleaning. I run it up and down a half dozen times then undo the bottom valve and it blows out all the crude. Easy to install.

I found instructions on the irrigation King filter on a different site because no instructions were included. The middle brass female threaded had to be plugged or have a pressure valve installed. The valve handle at the top flushes the filter when the valve at the bottom is opened. There is a red plug that raises to show when to manually flush the mesh filter.Overall length is about 29â€

Received the IrrigationKing RKTS225NSA Semi-Automatic T Screen Filter, 120 Mesh, 110 GPM, 2" promptly. Outer box damaged as the inner box was just bouncing around inside the outer box, no peanuts or airbags. Does not appear to be damaged. There are no instructions in the box. I called Irrigation King and the support staff was very friendly and very helpful, albeit, no instructions exist; no YouTube installs, nothing at all. You would think the distributor (Irrigation King) would press the manufacturer to provide install instructions and an operating manual. Support person provided the basics over the phone, such as screw on fittings, don't overtighten, etc. However, there is no guidance on mounting the product. Once mounted, it will be heavy because it will be filled with water, so some guidance would be appreciated. I'm a handyman, jack of all trades, expert at nothing, so instructions help me from doing an install two or three times before getting it right. Anyway, off I go to the hardware store to buy all the little things that a handyman like me always forgets!

What good is this if it can’t handle static pressure? Am I supposed to buy one for placement after each valve in my sprinkler system so there is not static pressure? Disappointed in that. Customer service was helpful but I’m sorry the product just doesn’t make sense. Unusable.
