The wands were better than expected. The D batteries were definitely stronger and were bright. The 2 package deal was just what we needed.

Seem pretty sturdy, but with any plastic product, dropping it will probably break it, so for those who complained that it broke when it dropped, don't drop it. Nice that it has both a flashing and constant mode for different uses. I'm going to use it for traffic control. Seems bright enough.

I’m very glad that there were two in the box. One works perfectly and the other doesn’t work at all. I use these to direct traffic in a law enforcement capacity to having them is very crucial to my safety and the safety of others.But being that I paid for two and only one works is a little disappointing.

The lights aren't the most premium but they feel sturdy and durable enough with batteries in. The red light is bright and will work great, the white light on top isn't the brightest but it's a nice bonus to use if you don't have another light.

For the Star Wars fans - yes, they do resemble a light saber, but for first responders, they may be life savers!

We purchased these wands to use for directing traffic during our evening events. They are decent as far as brightness, but we had 3 break within the first hour. The light up portion just completely broke away from the handles while in use. The clear red plastic is very flimsy and you can easily bend it with your fingers. I would not recommend these. Invest a little more money into something more sturdy.

I like these because they’re not super long and they’re bright enough to get the job done. But the build quality sucks. When I’m directing traffic the light with turn off by itself; the batteries have too much room to move around so when you’re waving the wand the light cuts off. Also, they break so easily. 3 out of the 4 wands have been crushed from light impact (dropping it, sliding around my trunk, holding it too tightly when replacing the batteries).

No batteries included and no documentation as to what kind they require. They are not a standard battery type.
