I was on the fence and very much love this notebook. I’m often bringing a notebook to a clients home, taking measurements and putting them in their file. I also use a lot of paper at work whether to jot down notes, figure out dimensions or design something. This makes it very easy to upload and save a file to a folder so I don’t loose it. It also makes me visit the recycling bin a LOT less. Now, are the pens perfect? No. They’re decent when scanned in, just no where near as pretty as they are in person in the notebook. In the notebook if you erase quickly you’ll get a smudge but if you wait a second it’s fine. If you erase sometimes you need to wipe your finger over that area to remove any residue so the pen glides smoothly after but then again you’d do that with a pencil eraser anyway so the only difference is you can’t see this to realize that’s the issue that causes inconsistent writing. Now, the frixion pen that comes with it is awful, but the ones you buy are 10x better and I have no idea why. Now if you buy the fineliner markers they’re even better and I therefore find myself using those most of the time. The colors are not nearly as vibrant though so I stick to darker colors. So if you need bright colors and super pigmented colors or you need a flawless surface and scan, this isn’t for you. If you’re practical and can deal with some things that aren’t perfect for a nice trade off of the ability to scan and keep a document as well as save paper, then this is for you. Just remember too that the frixion pens are temperature sensitive so if you’re in a hot climate or extreme cold then I also wouldn’t recommend as it’ll disappear on you until it’s in a normal temperature again. I live in New England and I’ve had no problem.

There is only 2 negatives I have about this product. 1-my 1st time writing on it & taking a picture, the writing does not look smooth at all. 2-when wiping clean it bleed through the other side & the page looks like there are smears. Of course this was the first time I used it. So in all I absolutely love the idea and the way this product works. I bought one for my daughter who is going back to nursing school. I like that I can organize all my writing and it is very handy at my job. That fact that I don't have to waste paper & then remembering to shred the paper. I can easily wipe away any private information, is great. I love that it flips on the to, it's so comfortable to write on. It's a great gift to get kids for school. I plan on getting a bigger one. It's not heavy to lug around and if I carry one of my bigger purse I can just put ti in there. I definitely will be getting the value out of this product. One thing to the manufacturer, please add a pocket for the cloth. Maybe the planner one you can do the top spiral instead of on the side. Would be nice. Again great job & love this product.

DO NOT USE OTHER PENS!! Use Pilot Frixion pens!!! Otherwise you are going to regret it and not be able to erase it!!This flip notebook is amazing! I love jotting down mini stories, ideas and even drawing little doodles. I got the mini for portability and on the go, while I use this Flip-Notebook for home usage.

I've used spiral binders for years and decided to try this top-spiral Rocketbook Flip. The pros are that it's a portable whiteboard and it's very easy to scan pages to the cloud. The con is that you can't erase single words with frixion like you can on paper, erasing takes time that wasn't needed with paper, and you have to spend some time managing the cloud docs. The very first day I screwed up and used a regular pen - despite all the tips it's impossible to remove regular ink without destroying the surface of the pages. The Rocketbook app is good but there's some bug that causes my auto-scan to upload with the same name for all docs. A pro tip is to use #### on the top of your page to create the filename. This is a limitation of spiral paper books as well but you can't compare multiple pages easily compared to just whipping out a couple pages of paper. Erasing works well but it takes time to wet your cloth, wipe it, clean up the smears, dry it, and occasionally wash out the cloth. Since you can't erase just a single word or line I end up just crossing stuff out... a step backwards from Frixion pens. The "dots" on the unlined pages are basically invisible unless you get out your magnifying glass - it's not like using lined engineering paper. I did find some generic pens that look almost identical to frixion pens with caps and they work well enough and were super cheap. Docs can be uploaded with OCR as a separate doc or embedded but that ended up being messy so I just upload images now. I get confused whether I've already uploaded a page or not so then I had to check on my Google Docs to see if they were - probably need to start marking the page after upload. I datestamp all my scans so it gives some more sense or organization. I found that I still wanted the backup & convenience of having the scans in my desktop computer files where I organize by categories so then I had to take the step of downloading them. The jury is still out but I think I will continue to use these pages but I'm going to have to streamline my process so I don't end up taking a lot of time where the docs live.

I've been using Rocketbook products since I discovered them in 2019. I have the regular dot grid book and the mini Rocketbook, so when I saw this larger flip style, I had to add it to my collection! I love how one side is the dot grid and the other is lined. Both sides are easy to use thanks to the hard plastic backing on both sides and I actually prefer the Flip Notebook over my Regular one.

En el trabajo uso mucho escribir notas para tener la información del negocio, juntas, minutas, pendientes. Etc.Me ha resultado muy útil éste cuaderno, pues cuando requiero conservar la información, me basta con usar el celular para mandarlo a mi aplicación de notas (one Note) para la oficina o a mi correo para mis notas personales.Además de la aplicación de OCR me permite capturar la información escaneada. Si bien no es perfecto, me basta con una revisión rápida y listo, ya tengo el texto que escribà en mis notas.Muy fácilmente se borra con la tela húmeda y ya tengo nuevamente el cuadernillo disponible para seguir tomando notas.

Ca fait quelques semaines que j'utilise mon Rocketbook Flip et j'en suis ravi. Plus besoin de feuilles volantes, de post-it. Dès que je veux conserver mes notes, je prend mon smartphone et hop c'est envoyé dans l'application souhaitée (onenote, mail, googledrive,..)Effacer avec le petit chiffon microfibre fourni (et avec un peu d'eau) est un jeu d'enfants.Réutilisable à souhait.
