The M5 series is the highest performing, most feature rich, water resistant amplifiers we make and they’re purpose built for any and every application.
The 800-Watt 4-channel M5-800X4 amplifier features the next level of Element Ready design from Rockford that’s built as rugged as the outdoor environment it’s used in. The IPX6 rating is provided by a water tight seal, featuring splash guards on both ends and heavy-duty molded harnesses with integral sealing gaskets.
Rockford Fosgate amplifiers are known world-wide for producing more power than their ratings suggest. The M5 amplifiers are the first series based on new CTA-2006 industry standard Dynamic Power ratings, bringing their conservative ratings to the forefront. These CTA-2006 guidelines mean your amplifier's output power ratings are REAL POWER numbers, not inflated marketing ratings. This is real dynamic rated power, engineered to perform not only on paper, but performance heard through the musical experience.
Out of the box performance, literally. Featuring a new PRESET switch, designed for use with Rockford Fosgate Motorsport audio kits, eliminates the need to set-up and tune the amp for the best experience possible. Utilizing this amp for a different application? No problem. Just turn off the PRESET to custom tune your system and dial in your own sound.
No matter how hard you push or where you take this amplifier, it pushes back with powerful output and performance. It never quits and provides the ability to play-all-day, so you and your music can too.

The M5 amplifiers are the first series based on the new industry standard, Dynamic Power ratings, bringing their conservative ratings to the forefront. Engineered from the ground up and purpose-built to deliver more output where you actually hear it (your music). This is real dynamic power that performs not only on paper, but performance heard through the musical experience. You’ll see two amplifier power ratings, the traditional Continuous Power output, and the new Dynamic Power output, both tested in accordance with the CTA-2006 specification.

Awesome speakers, very loud and clear quality when paired with the fosegate speakers. Also compactIf you are changing from the T model to the M5 model no rewirung needed just unplug and plug and play.

Excellent customer support, with an 800 number and a live person to talk to for tech support. Manual could have better instructions on 2 channel settings and wiring, but tech support cleared it up in one quick call.
