P500X2
The Punch P500X2 is a 2-channel stereo amplifier capable of producing 250 Watts into each channel at 2-Ohms.
The P500X2 amplifier is great with full-range or component systems or can be bridged for use with several subwoofers.
The Class A/B topology results in greater reliability and exceptional sound quality. The stealth top mounted control panel not only provides a sleek finished look to the amp, but it also protects the vital controls.
Our custom heat sink design uses high aluminum mass where it is needed most to maximize heat transfer from the output MOSFETS to the surrounding air, keeping the circuitry cool even under high power and output demand.

Got this amp to push a set of focal separates as well as a set of Polk 6x9 speakers. The amp is extremely clear and has plenty of power to do the job, it also feels very sturdy and has a good build quality. The amp is running in 2 ohm and has shown no signs of overheating even after being pushed hard for a while. I am extremely happy with the purchase and will be purchasing another Rockford amp to push my 4 kicker 12's

Wowzers!!! This amp is a class all of its own! I had read many reviews that were 70/30 good to bad with overheating issues etc. I have had fosgate amps before, about 20+ yrs ago good then and just as AWESOME now. I have it powering 2 Rockford Fosgate Punch P1S4-15" woofers and OMG!!! The BASS this thing hits with is phenomenal...........so much better than my old 12" This sounds way better than the class D amps as it's a class ab and has the full frequency range so that i am able to use it on a wider range of speakers, has 2 channels and i didn't even need to bridge it also PLENTY of room left on the gain too!!! Also just FYI it's always better to have the extra juice to avoid trying to push the amp too hard and clip the signal/blow your speaker(s). This amp is one of the best i have ever owned and the boxes are sealed so i use a little more juice than a ported box of the same speaker size and no heat issues yet and worst case just install a fan from a computer.....

I installed this amp along with a LC2i LO converter in my 2013 Ford Mustang convertible with the premium Shaker system. This is one of the best amps I have ever owned. For three days we thought it was bad because the install tech had accidentally wired a 12v signal from the ignition to the left speaker input causing a wicked hum and ground loop. Once I figured out the problem and wired the amp correctly, it performs beautifully. Very happy with the product and with CarAudio Closeout. Price was great and shipping was fast and easy.

This was purchased to replace an amp I have been using for 5 years, the setup and install on this amp is super easy to do thanks in part to the setup disc that comes with the amp. So far I have no complaints about this amp it is doing the job of handling my mids/highs perfectly! Only time will tell if this amp lives up to the name of Rockford Fosgate, but so far it is doing very well.

Coming from a department store amplifier, one week with this amp has introduced quality sound and confidence in my audio system. It delivers reliable power, and you know this because Rockford Fosgate is kind enough to include an amp dyno sheet in a box - a pleasant surprise. I believe this is a solid choice for a Mid-level amplifier.The adjustment controls are standard, with HP/LP filters for different applications and Bass Boost. Overall, the amplifier has performed well. Its one pitfall is how hot it gets from fan-less, convection cooling. Ensuring a good mounting location is a must for any amplifier. RF suggests a 1 inch space around the heat sinks.

I bought the P300X2 from Amazon Warehouse. Installed my speakers and hooked up the amp, the left channel was smoking up my speaker! No sound came from the speakers at any volume. The gain is on low. The left speaker was just smoking. The right speaker was fine and it did not smoke. Plugged in my friend's amp. Music comes on the right side and nothing on the left. Someone must've blown the amp and sent it back to Amazon. The person who did this is a good for nothing scum.Needless to say, Amazon took very little responsibility for sending me a speaker killer amp. They gave me a $30 gift card and gave me a full refund on the amp only, while my speaker costed $100. At least send me a brand new amp! They refused to send me a replacement amp that was not used (none was in stock).I'm never buying a used amp on Amazon warehouse again. If I do, I'm going to buy $10 speaker to test them first.

So here's the setup for my Trailblazer ss, pioneer 8" head unit, this fosgate 500×2 for the front doors 3way components. Fosgate 300×2 for rear doors 2way components. A Rockville mono RXD-5 for 3 pioneer 10" subs in a ported enclosure. These Fosgate punch amps have exceptional sound quality and plenty of power, the system sounds really clean. Fosgate for the 'win' .

Nicely assembled with a weighty, quality feel. I am using it to drive a set of 5.25" JBL/Harmon components in the front doors and am very pleased with sound produced.
