I purchased this as a temporary stand to hold my keyboard. I find that it is quite sturdy. The mechanical parts will definitely wear over time, especially with heavy use. This stand is priced pretty well. I love how it is adjustable in height and remains just as sturdy. The ends of the feet have good rubber coverage to protect your floors as well as your keyboard. It comes assembled, so you can get straight to setting up your keyboard, and it includes security straps on both sides. Decent design, sturdy, adjustable, and great current value. Works perfect for my current needs. Definitely worth a try.

Very nice & sturdy stand. Light-weight and portable. The double-X metal frame provides maximum stability for for our electronic keyboard. Easily adjustable height and no slip design.Main reason for buying this was there was no need for assembly.Great buy and highly recommend!

Edit: note that while I find it pretty sturdy, it is true that if you're banging on your keyboard, the whole thing will shake (but not break or anything). I think that's to be expected, this is basically just a stand to rest your keyboard on, and the keyboard itself is already pretty heavy, and then add on a human banging really hard on it lopsidedly (as you're likely banging on it left or right side depending on which clef the heavy banging is on), it's definitely gonna shake. I think it would need to be a stand that specifically supports all the edges of the piano to handle the shaking when banging on it. But honestly if you're playing pieces that requires that lvl of banging (ie rapid loud chords on either hand), i don't think you should be getting this stand unless it's for portability anyway. For most beginners to intermediate, it shouldn't be too big of a problem. This thing is really great, I saw reviews that said this is super flimsy but it didn't feel/seem flimsy at all. the teeth grips tightly and i don't feel at all like my piano is going to collapse this. I bought the Yamaha P71 88key digital piano (I think that's an amazon exclusive?) and it works great with this stand. The piano is supposed to be around 25lbs, i guess if you have a way heavier piano, then i can't guarantee anything. I saw people say that the straps can't screw into the piano, but it seems to reach fine once i change the hole that the screw goes through (it works like belt holes). Unless I'm not doing something correctly...but it seems to reach fine?My only complaint is that my knees does collide with it, and it's a bit harder to get to the pedal. Alternatively, I'm not sitting correctly in front of it (which is possible, i'm a n00b).Otherwise, i love how it came pre-assembled, and it's so easy to get it to the correct height for me.

Had to get another stand and came across this one. Love the latch feature to quickly open/close the stand. When set up, the latch feature has no give, no wobble. My keyboard doesn't slide with the end grips. Great value for the money.

After buying a cheaper one and having to return it after trying to assemble it for over an hour before I realized the problem wasn't me, I ordered this one. Took it out of the box, unfolded it, had a nice solid stand set up in less than a minute. Don't bother getting a cheaper one. This is affordable, good quality and zero stress.

I bought this for my husband so he could easily play his piano without having to constantly move it around. It arrived quickly, it was packed nicely and it was already assembled so it was easy to use immediately! There was also no missing parts which is a plus! I love the look of it, it's not bulky and while the price is right the stand doesn't look cheap. The item seems to be of good quality. I don't worry about his Casio piano falling or getting ruined as it seems pretty durable.

Bought to support a small (Novation Bass Station II) 2 octave keyboard. This stand comes fully assembled so the vertical and horizontal supports are welded together. No slop, no wobbly joints. The locking mechanism has many teeth so it gives lots of height / width options for me to fine-tune the width for my small keyboard. The rubber straps are useless but I cut the ends off leaving the wraps around the tube and they aren't in the way. Overall very pleased with the item & price.
