This BPA12 speaker comes to the market as a result of one full year of intensive research and development. Our strategy used to be to re-sell other brands Bluetooth speakers at great price points. However, our customers were simply not happy with how loud they were able to go. As a result we had to stop carrying those other models. Since realizing there was a market, we decided to go out and try to make a better product and keep the price point the same. Like we always do, we went out and bought 5 models of great sounding PA speakers and put our engineers, purchasers, and designers to work to see if we can build something as good as the higher end brands for the price of the cheaper ones. One year later the BPA series was born and is now in stock!
These go louder than the ones we tested against. We abused them for months and they still held up just fine! These speakers are true professional quality!

Wow... This speaker sounds really AMAZING.. I'm used to loud subs and stereo in my cars and everywhere so when I tell you this is golden for the money it's sooooo worth the price it's easily comparable to something of double the cost..

First, I use this instead of a portable Bluetooth speaker in my backyard and NOT as a PA speaker. My yard backs up to a fairly busy road and even though I have a large wall the noise is noticeable when busy. Coupled with the kids and dogs and general goings-on of a busy yard, none of the portable speakers we have tried have been loud enough to contend.This thing is. And then some.In fact I will say in comparison it is comically loud.I typically set the volume around 3-4 and use the volume adjustment of my phone to fine-tune it while streaming. As someone else recommended, I set the bass fairly low and the treble high and the sound quality is really good. I did try adjusting the settings differently a few times and tested max volume max bass etc... but completely overkill. At max volume it would be a nuisance to my entire neighborhood.There are a few downsides but for me they are far outweighed by the positives.1. Bass performance is not great. Not only does it not lack a great lunch, but even moderate bass is questionable at louder volumes.2. Bluetooth is inconsistent. I typically keep my phone within a few feet. Some days it works from 50’ away, some days it gets choppy at 10. Never anything major. Occasionally it won’t pair, flip the power off/on and it pairs again in two seconds.3. Remote was/is garbage. This doesn’t bother me since I don’t rely on it. However if you needed to use the remote I fear you would be disappointed. Many reviews seem to say the same.As far as I am concerned, this serves me extremely well and I am beyond satisfied. For the cost this is hands down the best speaker I’ve ever purchased, what it lacks in portability is more than compensated in function.5 stars for value. I originally gave it 4 stars because of the bass and remote, but I’m going to change it because for the price I don’t see how you could expect better. I’m no expert in PA systems but I understand that they don’t deliver bass the same way a similar 12†sub would for a car audio system so I don’t consider it a detriment and honestly I think the remote is functional just not fantastic.

I use this PA for Poetry and Fiction readings at an intimate local brew pub, and it fills the bill perfectly. The sound is big and the Bluetooth allows me to program some intro music. The speaker cabinet is rugged and durable, but I think a cover or bag is essential to keep dirt and other junk from getting in the speaker. Sound response is very full for a single cardio mic.The first speaker sent was defective and damaged in shipping, but customer service on the part of both the seller and Rockville were exceptionally attentive. I needed the speaker for a gig I have coming up in a few weeks. They cross-shipped, and the speaker arrived in plenty of time to rehearse and mount the gig. Lots of good communication to process and track the shipment.I've now used the Rockville BPA12 for my first gig, so I can give you a better idea of how the speaker functions in a medium-sized brewery venue. The sound quality-- highs and lows-- is exceptionally clear and bright with powerful volume for this size speaker array. Given my specialized use as purely a vocal speech amplification/projection system the sound quality is exceptionally clear with speech sounds not muddied, so that words project accurately and forcefully. The venue is narrow (about 40ft across and 100 ft deep) with quite high ceilings that might swallow the sound, but the Rockville performed like a champ with no feedback even in the full high position. This is a great setup for spoken word in a small to medium-sized venue.

I bought one these a few months ago ..I was so pleased with it I bought another one ...These speakers are awesome...I use them to sing through in my band 🎶 â™¥ï¸ you will not disappointed ....Choose Rockvill over all others

I'll give it 5 stars for it being what it's supposed to be and sounds great. Just wish UPS wouldn't have let it sit for 2 days in my home town when it was already a day late. Other than that everything was great. Not seller or Amazon's fault.

When it arrived, it did not have the remote or the power cable. It took about 3 days for them to respond, after i had to contact Amazon by phone and they relayed the message again for me. After that took about a week and a half for the power cord to arrive and another week and a half before the remote arrived. The unit it self seems good enough for a backyard BBQ, or small outdoor gathering.

The reviews were right great sound. Once you set the equalizer it sounds great.Great Bass,Just don’t expect it to sound like the more expensive speakers. But I’m satisfied.
