We took the sound of our best selling series of dB car amps and we added the best marine grade parts so that they will last forever and withstand even the harshest conditions on the water. We went a little overboard (no pun intended) to make this amp marine ready. We conformal coated the PCB board with a waterproof glue that is painted on to protect the circuitry. We then added waterproof silicone covers over the terminals so that water can never get into the amp. The heat sink, including the bottom plate, is made of aluminum which is rustproof. The end panels, all of the internal mounting screws and hardware of the amp are made of stainless steel and are rustproof as well. Even after many years of use the amp will be rust free and operate like new! The dBM12 is a mono amplifier with 2,000 watts peak output and 500 watts Dyno Certified RMS power. Here at Rockville we offer the best value in car audio. We therefore want to make it easy for you to compare our products to any brands on the market. The peak rating can be used to compare with brands who use peak ratings such as Boss and Power Acoustik while the Dyno Certified RMS rating can be used to compare with top brands such as Kicker, Rockford, Alpine, etc.

I have this installed on my pontoon boat to push a single 12" subwoofer. It's powerful, and produces plenty of bass. Rockville seems to produce good quality and a decent price. I really like the remote dial for tuning the gain going to my subwoofer.

I am using this amp to drive a Kicker 10" subwoofer tube I have mounted in my boat.The sound it puts out is very impressive. It straight up shakes my boat. What got me more than anything was what I noticed after I had been playing music for a while. I reached down and touched the amplifier, and it was not hot like I expected. It was actually cool to the touch!Perhaps I have not been pushing it to it's limits but I was blown away on how cool the amplifier was under load.

Works good so far. I have had installed on my boat for a month. It’s pushing a kicker kmf12 and kmf 10in. The only thing I would say is it is a voltage pig! This thing kills my battery in an hour. Even with my engine running if my engine isn’t above 2k rpms my voltage drops when the bass hits and the amp will cut out. So now I have to upgrade my batteries.

My 18yr old JL Audio 500/1 finally fried out on me and didn’t feel like spending a lot on a new one, so I decided to go with a cheaper route expecting cheaper results. But when installed and paired it with my JL W3s, i found myself completely surprised. They knock harder then I expected and it holds continuous. Mosdef worth the money. I just hope it lasts me a while.

Unboxed it , looks good. Going through the unboxing I noticed that it didn’t come with a bass knob , very disappointing also can’t seem to find a replacement for it. Hooked it all up and it sounds good. pushes my single 2000 watt 15 db drive sub great.

Installed all Rockville marine speakers, sub, Amp and head unit in my old boat. Sound is amazing and even after almost sinking and through rain storms and winter weather. The system still works perfectly. Highly recommend. Actually replaced all my truck speakers and put an Amp and subs all Rockville in my truck

product worked okay for 2 trips out from that point on completely stopped all output still powers up butno sound switched to another amp and it workscustomer service is a joke only available during hours in which i work. and super slow response via email

Very powerful amp. Pushes my kicker L7 to the limit. Will definitely beat up a couple 15's. ID buy again and recommend to everyone to buy

Amplifier works amazing for my application. Mounted a but kicker concert transducer into my mazda truck. The transducer requires 2oh to operate. Found this amp and works excellent. Iam on the low side of RMS into the transducer but wow great!!!
