I wanted a semi lightweight winter coat for my daughter. While I thought the other colors were adorable, I specifically needed a darker color to match her darker outfits; she already has a pale pink winter coat. So after an extensive search, I found this one. The navy color was versatile, the polka dots small enough to keep it from being plain, while still being discreet enough to match all her outfits.Keep in mind, the jacket is NOT heavy. Its not what you'd put your child in to go out for playtime in the snow. It's not intended for that. But it's just right for walking out to the car on cold mornings, and a short wait out front for her bus to Kindergarten, the bus ride, walking to an from the bus into school. We live in CT, and in winter her typical outfit consists of a long sleeved shirt under this coat. When it's colder, say low 30's, I'll put a thin sweatshirt or hoodie over the long sleeved shirt, then the jacket, and she is warm enough. Obviously we also add a hat and gloves when necessary.My girl is 5½, but she is a peanut. She is only about 39 inches tall, and 35lbs. We ordered a 4T, and its just right. Even when she has the layers underneath, she has several inches of slack. But do not misconstrue this, it is not too big at all. The photos I posted show the sleeve hanging past her hands.(NOTE- Before parent start freaking out, which we know some will, no, my 5 year old's hair is not dyed pink. It's just hair spray. She had "Crazy Hair Day" in her class at school, and she wanted pink hair. She knows Mommy dies her hair red, and she asked if she could make her hair pink for her special "Crazy Hair Day.")Moving on...When the jacket is zipped, it brings the sleeves up to about her palms, so I just have to give them a small roll and they are just right. The length of the actual jacket it perfect, reaching just past her bum.We all know how fast children. The style of this coat allows it to look good even if you order it a bit on the larger side for growing room. I see this one fitting all winter, possible even into next fall!In short, I highly recommend this jacket.Plus, for $25 bucks you can't beat the price! Totally worth it.

I got it for my three years old and it fits perfectly with sweater inside. I love the fact that it is waterproof and it didn’t affect playing in the snow at all.

My daughter has a heavy winter coat, but it is really hard to buckle her into her car seat with it on. We got this one for her and it is wonderful! It is warm enough to go out on winter days, but not so thick that she can’t buckle her car seat and it’s super cute

Wonderfully soft coat for a toddler. My daughter just turned 3, and the 3T size fit her perfectly. Big enough to wear a decently thick sweater under, but not too big for her to be able to run and play. True to size and description, it seems to be decent quality. We live in the south, so only need cold weather coats for a few months, and even then it rarely gets extremely cold. This price point was attractive and I'm very pleased with the quality. The fact it's super cute doesn't hurt, either!
