Your cart is empty.The Rolls RA2100b is a stereo 100W/channel RMS power amplifier in a standard 2 rack space format. It is intended for professional audio and distributed musical applications. The unit features 100 Watts per channel RMS into four ohms, 85 Watts per channel into eight ohms, and for the contractor - 70 Volts / eight ohms. The unit also features MOSFET drivers in a voltage and current gain circuit and a one-second input turn-on delay. The RA2100b will drive 25 Volt speaker lines directly from each channel, or 70 Volt lines bridged. The 2100b is convection cooled. Adequate ventilation room for the heat sink fins on the rear panel must be provided for.

Our church had a Rolls amp that lasted over 25 years. It finally kicked the bucket. I tried replacing it with other amps on Amazon, but they just didn't work out. When I discovered the Roll RA2100b amp, I decided to purchase it. Afterall, we had a Rolls in the beginning, and that worked out great. This Rolls amp is very similar to the one it replaced. It costs more than the other amps I tried, but as they say, you get what you pay for. After receiving the Rolls amp, I had our sound system back up in running in no time. Don't waste your time with those cheaper amps. Spend the money and buy quality. That's what the Rolls amp is.

Using this as a 70 volt amplifier in a restaurant. It works great! We have about 175 watts of volume controls connected to it and it's great! Very happy.

These Rolls amps are very well built in the USA, and are reliable workhorses. I should have written a review for them long ago. Ironically, I'm giving the amp 5 stars the same day I sent my first one in for service. When you call Rolls, a friendly person answers the phone. When they put you on hold, it's only for a second, there is no cheesy music or ads, and the next friendly and helpful person is on the line before you know it. How great is that?! I explained my problem to the Rolls tech. My 7 year old amp stopped working and is blowing the fuse. The Rolls tech guy said that he was fairly certain what the issue was, and without me asking, told me it would be about $30.00 to repair. That's beyond reasonable. The whole experience felt like I had gone back in time when things were built to last, and if they developed a small issue, the company could identify the problem quickly and fix it for not too much money. The amp still looks brand new, and is overbuilt in comparison to the other offerings I've seen. The price is especially good for a 200 watt model. Watts really do matter when it comes to 70 volt systems. I'm hoping everyone looking for an affordable and quality 70 Volt amplifier will consider buying a Rolls because I'd like to see them stick around and keep building nice equipment.

This amp replaced the same model amp that had been in use in our church for so many years that no one can remember when it was purchased. We think it may have been 1980 when complete sound system was replaced.

This amp is working very well for our electronic bell tower music. I like that it is made in the USA.

I am a commercial and pro audio contractor and I've used these amplifiers in a number of installations (mostly in restaurants). For driving 70v lines they produce tremendous output and great bang for the buck. They are quite a bargain, even compared to a number of Chinese manufactured amplifiers.I read a bad review on this amplifier here on Amazon, and I suspect that the user did not connect this device properly. The amplifier must be operated in bridged mono mode in order to drive a 70v line. If it is to be used as a stereo 70v amplifier, auto-transformers must be connected between the outputs and the 70v speakers. The performance of the amplifier is only as good as the integrity of the system design and the proper interface into the system.It's a very nice plus that they're made in the US. They are nothing fancy, but they are definitely reliable. And it feels good to support factory workers in Utah.
