Good quality but they are heavy. They came sharpened but could be sharpened more. The design is gorgeous. Easier to hold for larger hands. They function well but need to be oiled.

I ordered these shears to replace a 20-year-old pair I've been using. These shears are much much nicer than my old pair. They're polished to a shiny brass finish, and even have a stylish little jewel finish to the middle screw. They are very sharp and do the job of clipping exceptionally well. I'm even going to use them for human hair clipping. They come in a nice zip pouch to protect for storage too.The only downside I can think of is these trimming shears are almost too nice. I'd be happy with a pair of stainless-steel shears for a cheaper price.
